Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location was great. Maurice and his wife, the owners, are a fantastic couple. They are friendly, very helpful and offer genuine hospitality. They pointed out places to visit and we enjoyed an interesting, memorable chat. We would recommend this B&B highly.

Great location and plenty of parking nearby. I loved that there was tea / coffee making facilities available at the reception. Staff were lovely, very friendly and couldn't help enough in terms of advice on where to go etc.

Location is great. Directly across the street from the marina. Room was small, but we knew that going in. We wanted to stay in a traditional Irish B&B. The host and hostess are great. A quick breakfast turned into a 90 minute visit with other guests and the staff. A great time. Food was delicious.

Could not fault this bed and breakfast . Lots of places could learn from you guys.
From the moment I walked into the Quayside , I could feel the positive energy and friendly atmosphere which Maurice exudes. He is full of chat and wisdom and made sure everything was ok with my stay from start to finish. He is a huge asset to your business, not many left like him. Thank you Maurice . The Bedroom no. 4 is cosy and clean , was perfect for my needs but maybe a small small for 2. they call it the fun room !! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, it was great value for money , walking distance to everything and I will definitely be back again, highly recommend. ps also tea and coffee making facilities available all day at reception

It is advertised as a B&B and when I booked it I was under the imprestion that Breakfast was all part of the package but found out when I arrived that the breakfast was an additional 15 euros aper person per day!

The room lacks a bit of space.

Rooms are small - but this was a given since it’s a very old building. It was quaint and comfy.
Location is perfect in Dingle - very short walking distance from everything. Water across the street.

It was only one night stay, that's what I didn't like!
The absolute top notch welcome we had at the reception, sharing tips and stories about the wonderful city of Dingle. It was an incredible experience made possible by the delightful receptionist. The accommodation location is worth any price and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place. It had everything I needed to make ours a perfect stay. Really delighted! I can't praise it enough. Excellent experience all around. One of those B&B which are just hard to forget! I am looking forward to coming back, and I mean it.

That we didn’t get to stay longer
The Quayside was such a cozy little spot by the sea, that was clean and in perfect proximity to pubs and shops. Morris is hilarious and took such good care of us, I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back next time I’m in Dingle.
