Shower was not good - wouldn’t stay still on the bracket and sprayed everywhere wetting towels and making it impossible to shower properly Took 2 visits from maintenance to get it fixed and even then it wasn’t fully stable Did however get car park for free as a ‘recompense’ from a lovely receptionist We asked for more tea and milk - tea at reception - milk didn’t come thx first night

As mentioned by others the old wing needs renovation work. The baths are very slippy to climb into for a shower and ours leaked each time leaving a pool of water on the floor.

- The hotel seems to have two distinct sections: one new, modern, and comfortable, and another older part with outdated elevators that had a strange smell. - The older section is far from the rest of the hotel and common areas, with small, outdated rooms that need modern equipment and better finishing. - The older area felt like it was of a lower standard, almost like we were not even in the same hotel.

- The hotel has very good and modern facilities. - It is well-located near the central area of the city. - The breakfast is complete and satisfying.

Some noisy nights! At the day of arrival, after a tired trip, some bad guys leaving the bar made lot of noise. At the end of the stay, a party has taken place, making noise until midnight!

Says we asked for quiet room, we did not, asked for feather free bedding was not in our room had to wait for maid to bring when he arrived it was two single bed comforters we had a king bed. We were told we would get a call when room was ready when we checked in two hours later i asked about our room it had been ready and never received a call

Fantastic hotel! So modern and luxurious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Ideal location for visiting Galway. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and had a good selection of food. The spa was also amazing, although it’s an added cost it was well worth the money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a sea view which was great and they also allowed us a later check-out (1pm instead of 12pm) free of charge which we really appreciated. Will definitely be back!

Stayed in a superior king room with a view, but there is a main road that goes along the hotel and we heard every car and truck that went by during the morning and night - the windows did absolutely nothing as a barrier to the noise. Did not have a great sleep. The fridge was also quite loud and also didn't help with falling or staying asleep. The shower took about 10 to 15 minutes to warm up before hot water was available in the shower. It was not just the shower as we encountered the same problem with the sink. I'm not sure if that was just our room, a hotel, or a Galway issue, but we were really unimpressed by that for the €377/night we were paying. We have been living in Ireland three years now and it is the first time that we have come across this issue at a hotel.

View, location, interior, environment, staff, and food were all great. Really had a good impression of the place when we arrived in the evening and during the day.

Travelers who arrive by car, will be happy to find the underground parking. Even though you are hotel guest, you have to pay for the parking fee. The staff informed us that the underground parking was operated by other company. So, the hotel had to charge.
