A little too warm in hotel room at night. Tea facilities in room were in an awkward high up place.

It was a pleasant trip, hotel was to our liking, made use of the swimming pool. Town was very clean, museum interesting.

Anna at reception was extremely welcoming, friendly and informative. A great asset to Radisson Blu Athlone. The room was really well laid out and had everything we needed. The rover view was captivating. The atmosphere in the bar was relaxed and laid back which was just what we needed on our mini tour of ireland

The staff were so pleasant to my parents. They upgraded their room for new reason, which they were delighted about.

There was a concert on that evening which made my room a bit noisy but it was over by 10.30 so no real issue Coffee machine in the room but no capsules for it, requested capsules and they delivered the wrong make for the machine.

The breakfast was good and had a good selection. Fresh fruit is always a winner The staff were friendly and attentive even though it was a busy evening

close proximity to town pubs as people flocked from there to the hotel after the pubs closed and it was noisy and a bit messy with people too drunk and doing g the usual unpleasantries associated with drunkness. three was a two day concert with a 6 piece band, The Whistling Donkeys in the hotel so maybe that explains the excessive movement and a bit of a slow service in the bar and restaurant the next day.

proximity to shopping and river walks clean and very quiet at night Er had a friendly welcome but even though we were at least half an hour early, we had to wait over an hour before our room was ready. we were upgraded to a junior suite though and given a complimentary drink do that was great. the swimming pool was lovely and clean and we had it to ourselves for at least 45 mins before a family land two couples joined us. the steam room and sauna were clean and well kept.

The room was dreadfully hot at night, there was a thermostat but all the numbers had worn away and we couldn't figure out how to use it. Window only opened a small bit (obviously for safety reasons).

I was pleasantly suprised and the hotel exceeded expectations. All the staff were very friendly and extremely attentive and helpful. Room was lovely and very comfortable bed. Little touches like face and nail care kit, bottles of water and nice shampoo/conditioner were a bonus. The bar food was gorgeous. I'll be returning.

One of the tvs wasn’t working Housekeeping called too early 9am on first morning. Kept knocking until I got out of bed. When on holiday it would have been nice to lie on

Car parking spaces are very limited which caused people to park irresponsibly which therefore had a knock on effect on drivers being able to leave their car spaces. I would recommend to get more staff serving the bar for concerts as queue was far too long and unnecessary

Room was very spacious and warm. Television was of excellent quality in the bedroom. Good facilities.

We requested a roll away and when we arrived after 11pm no roll away was in room with a very tired 4 year old

The hotel is a bit tired and needs to be refurbished - lots of wear and tear, stains on the carpets etc.
