Just a bit slow on checking in, because the computer was down at the time.

I have used this hotel a couple of times in the past year, and I find that it has improved every time I stay here compared to the previous time. It has a nice big car park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always spacious, warm and comfortable. The large TV in the room is excellent. The food is lovely.

The temperature in the room, I actually stayed in two different rooms over the weekend, both were too warm, I remember a silimar issue in this hotel when I stayed here in the past. I think if it is too expensive to put in adiquate air conditioning with the current room prices it is a mistake on behalf of the owners.

Reception Staff, a lady who's first name started with NN was welcoming, helpful and prompt to resolve issues that we encountered. Also a lady from north Mayo mayo us very welcome during checking in, her name was maybe Lauren. Also the bar man was very keen to both educate us on new beer offerings and make us welcome.

Would say the noise was a bit loud and went on till around 2am it can be hard if you tired and wanting to rest. Other than that it was beautiful

It took a long time to check in as two out of three desks seemed to have problems with client bookings. However, when my time came, I was at the desk for no longer than five minutes.

We had dinner in the hotel bistro on our first night which was quite nice. Breakfast was very good and there was an excellent selection of food. Normally I judge a hotel breakfast using the "Full Irish", but as I am try to wean myself off of piggies - I've seen how they are treated - I settled for a variety of other foods, which were all lovely.

TSI was travelling with a group all family, some of them didn't get there room till 6.30 , disappointing as we had to wait around, and we only stayed 2 nights and the pool was closed one of the days, kids were ready to go and then left disappointed

Rooms were excellent and staff were very helpful even though there was a que of people trying to check-in which was slow

couldn’t get through to get room service, even tried ringing hotel main number but to no avail. When I eventually got through, order was not processed. Girl at bar was very helpful and apologetic to be fair

They just need to do so me touch ups. Paint the outside make sure the glass is clean. Maybe change a few carpets.

Location is great for shopping breakfast and the food in bar is really nice, but the staff and the young bar manager spoke to long to cusp and was forgetting to bring things back down to the table . He was a bit to over powering

Most enjoyable stay in the Radisson Athlone . Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to family illness. We will definitely book to stay again.Staff are so friendly and a lovely relaxed atmosphere . Food is beautiful and lady managing the breakfast room so friendly and helpful. The staff comes across as very happy in their roles and so efficent and helpful. The location is brilliant. We will definitely be back.👏👏👏😁

2 Little things to comment on, just to give feedback.. -After checking in, we sat in bar area to order lunch & have a drink, we tried to order at the bar but advised to take a seat & someone would come to take our order, we were 20 mins or more waiting. When waitor came he was very nice & apologised for delay as there was a wedding in hotel, so they were very busy. I appreciate service is needed for wedding function but shouldn't take away from service to other hotel guests. -All bathroom towels were crisp white 👌. The rubber bath mat was very old & stained which took away from lovely clean bathroom. Rubber bath mats are an off white colour but the one present was well used & could do with being replaced.

Very busy at check in. The revolving had a lot of hand prints on it and looked like it was not cleaned in days: COVID risk at touch points.

Unfortunately pool was out of action due to high chlorine readings which was probably only temporary but we had a short stay so missed it. Small thing in overall happy stay.

Great location in the heart of Athlone. Parking easy and adjacent and comfortable stay. Staff in bar very friendly and professional and surroundings relaxing and stylish.

Check in very slow, waited 2.5 hours, kids got very agitated, offered complimentary drinks and later something to eat. This was the only complaint.

Breakfast very good, food in bar great, kids loved the kids menus, staff excellent all round, nice spacious room.
