Our room was directly over the generator, which gave off a lot of sound but it turned off/ got quieter later on in the night.

Was very clean, and spacious. The staff were friendly and the overall look of the hotel was exceptional.

I had upgraded my room on booking.com to a suite unfortunately the hotel knew nothing about this which was both awkward and unresolved. The receptionist could have managed this situation better, was told I was getting a free upgrade to a River view however, I paid the same as my friend who booked a River view room. Bit disappointing.

The view from the room was amazing, the room was clean and the beds were comfy! The hotel overall is very clean and modern!

I asked receptionist where The Sheraton was located and how near was the centre of town. I was told just up the road and only a few minutes. I thought person could have been more helpful and pointed us in the right direction.

Spacious room with fantastic view of the river and Athlone Castle from the 5th floor. King bed was very comfortable. Excellent full breakfast. Free parking provided on property. Great central location & staff was extremely helpful and personable.

Had to pay for our entire stay twice because of a problem with their card system. The full amount of our stay was deducted from my Revolut account at reception on arrival, however I was told that the amount didn’t go through, even though I could clearly see that it had. And I showed them that on my phone. In order to be able to check in to our room, I had to pay the full amount again with a different card, with no way of getting back the first 500 into my Revolut. It was my 40 birthday weekend. We’d been looking forward to it for a long time. Very disappointed that at check out, the issue hadn’t been resolved. Other guests had the same experience. No resolve as of yet. No management. No one had a clue. It really took the goodness out of what should have been a great few days.

The attitude of charging us when it was impossible for us to stay there because those bikes are our only mode of transport whilst in Ireland

We went to the hotel desk to check if our electric bikes could go somewhere safe and they established they could put them somewhere safe so we were forced to cancel and they have taken all the money off me I am very upset as all the could offer was outside the hotel at the front or a public underground cat park not acceptable

The check in and the mess surrounding where tickets for an event at hotel were as had been paid in advance before arriving the lack of communication with hotel staff on matter and myself which was very disappointing as stayed here in the past no issues

Check in was terrible lady on check in was extremely rude and unhelpful took till the morning and speaking with a manager to resolve an issue was the best start to my stay

Our stay in the Radisson Blu Athlone was amazing- room was lovely with a fabulous view over the river Shannon Dinner in the Bar was reasonably priced and delicious- great atmosphere in the hotel but most of all - the staff were exceptional- friendly helpful and professional- congratulations- we will definitely return and have recommended you to family and friends

We were very disappointed, starting with our family room not being ready at 5pm, then finding out the room is very dated, and looks absolutely nothing like the one on website, carpet not hoovered with crumbs, filthy windows, etc Breakfast was OK but I hope those dry 5 slices of cheese have been replaced with some fresh, edible choice of cheese. We unfortunately left our toiletries bag with our toothbrushes in the room. The communication from the hotel was shocking, totally not interested, they could not care less. We will not be staying in Radisson Blue ever again.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous location. Room was huge, I was on floor 5. Big comfy bed. Bath and hot powerful shower. White crisp bedding and towels. Food was excellent. Service was great although they were very short staffed in the bar and restaurant the girls worked so hard. Friendly efficient bar man.

Lovely,friendly and helpful staff. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Nice clean room with a nice view of the river Shannon. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely come back here again 10/10 😀
