Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandRoom was chilly in the afternoon and on enquiry, we were told the heating was at 20 degrees and would come on later when we could adjust to our requirements. An heater could be provided if we needed it.
Excellent facilities, relaxing and comfortable. Bar, restaurant and coffee dock were excellent.

IrelandThere was a misunderstanding at reception initially when we first arrived and my breakfast was undercooked. However Emer Mulcahy, the hotel’s Guest Experience Manager phoned me to discuss these issues and I very much appreciated her call. She was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The bed was comfortable and dinner was enjoyable

IrelandThe receptionist who welcomed me while checking in is very friendly and accommodating. As this is my first time doing staycation alone, I really expect it to be awkward but she started my whole experience with positive energy. Everyone is very hospitable. Caroline from Rain Spa and Leisure is amazing too!

IrelandLots of children running around and noisy - mainly in corridors and around reception area/behind restaurant. Parts of the bathroom shabby - needs a little work done on it.

IrelandOnly issue is there seemed to be quite a lot of noise coming from other residents, not sure if noise was coming from their rooms or the bar/restaurant area. I could hear shouting for some time between 9pm and 10pm

IrelandI didn’t like the fact that refugees were staying over there, as this is 4* hotel with absolutely stunning location and all I wanted was to have a relaxing, luxury stay without people running around the place in their PJs and flip flops…
Excellent location, close to Limerick but still in a peaceful area. Very comfortable bed, spacious junior suite and extraordinary service.

IrelandI know all hotels are charging €100+ for a one night stay but I still find this really expensive. Also, for anyone visiting Limerick the location isn't ideal as you will have to get a bus or taxi to go anywhere - it's too far from the city to walk.
The room was lovely and spacious

IrelandAn issue arose on our first night with a strong smell of smoke in our bathroom from people smoking outside too close to the vents. We phoned reception and the manager on duty dealt with it straight away and the following day the hotel took steps to ensure people couldn't smoke close to the vents in the future. We were very satisfied with how the staff dealt with the issue.
Staff were friendly and helpful and all chatted to our little boy. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. Facilities for families are great, swimming pool, playground and animals.. Our little boy really enjoyed the walk around the farm and seeing all the animals.
