Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThe camper was very useful when traveling through Ireland. The owner helped us immediately when we forgot to fill petrol at the beginning of the journey and stopped on the motorway.

United KingdomGreat option to zoom around Ireland and see things, stopping to sleep where want, we did 500 miles in 3 days packing in Dublin, Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Kilkenny etc. without the van missing a beat. Avoids finding your hotel when are carrying your bed with you and spend the saved money on restaurants etc!

United KingdomNothing , we loved it! The doors were temperamental but as we didn’t leave it very often, we just left the doors unlocked .
The retro van gave us freedom to travel anywhere and having a toilet was useful at night! We got stopped several times asking about our van, we loved the quirkiness of our Shelby . Perfect for 2 or 3 ( one child) as they sleep above on a boarded area . It took a bit of getting used to switching between leisure battery and plug in at a campsite , but we mastered it eventually.

United KingdomThey sent us in a death trap. The horn doesn’t work couldn’t tell a Lorry that we were there which could of been a serious accident. Fumes fill up in the front had to leave the windows down at all times. The fire extinguisher is well out of date and didn’t even have anything in it. Then company was unwilling to help in any form. We will be pursuing a refund but not with them as try to blame us for bad health and safety. As well as that they gave us false advertisement by saying and showing that they provided a shower which they didn’t as well as lines, towels, cleaning equipment etc. It doesn’t sleep 4 adults and barely 2 at that. They claim it’s retro for a shoddy unlivable van. We actually never used the van for sleep as thankfully we had friends with spare accommodation. The beds were broken and after giving us some linens they were incomplete and some were soiled. They wanted us to leave the van in a clean condition but yet was not given to us as that and had food left over from previous users in the fridge. It’s a absolute scam please don’t use it if you value your safety

United Kingdombasically it’s pretty much the same vibes as camping but just more protection from the elements. if you hate camping I don’t think this is the option for you.
The Van is exactly as advertised a retro camper. myself and my brother went to visit some friends and comparing this to the prices of hotels, air bnbs and so on plus the fact you’d need to also rent a car if travelling anywhere outside of Dublin to have true freedom. if you like to camp I would say that you would love this little van, they have many can options also so make sure you pick the right one for your needs.
