Room very drab, cold and no hot water in the evenings for a shower. Ground floor Room overlooked the bins which were overflowing. Window net curtain very stained and dirty. Didnt stay for breakfast , staff when there were friendly however whole place needs a freshening up to make the most of its superb location

It was like a b&b out of 1980s needs major renovation it wasn't very clean bit of a smell coming out of the bathroom and no lock on any doors inside .I booked a room with a sea view the window of the room wasn't very big so it wasn't much of a veiw Mattress wasn't of good quality and pillows were very solid and the headboard came away from it fitting on the wall

I just thought that overall it could do with some freshing up. Lick of paint and deep clean of windows etc. the bathrooms were good size but the shower was covered in mould.

Breakfast was great. Good options and food came relatively quickly. It was in a great location and the parking was easy to find.

Room was dirty. Cobwebs, dirty marks on walls, previous guests deodorant bottle down side of bed, bathroom mouldy with peeling paint, dirt on handbasin pedestal, shower cubicle black with mould, dirt on bathroom floor, cracked handbasin.

The room was very comfortable Lovely front room with a sea view with 2 chairs provided The beds were comfortable, warm quilts and had a very good nights sleep Bathroom met requirements and there was plenty of toilet rolls and towels whenever they were needed - and lots of hot water TV was good Tea, coffee sugar and milk was well supplied

shower cold ,door did not close properly , run out of toilet roll on first night no extra left in bathroom. had to ask for clean towels , not enough towels left for four people, room not cleaned during our stay therefore bin was overflowing by the time we left. the main problem was that we had booked this B and B as they stated that they supplied gluten-free meals, however when we asked for gluten free sausages we were told that they did not have any, how hard is it to keep a packet of gluten free sausages in freezer??

The room was tiny. This may be ok if you were on your own and using the room to sleep. I had a young child who was in bed by 8pm. There was no space for me to sit anywhere to read or watch tv. I felt claustrophobic in the room for 12 hours each night for 3 nights. The breakfast was terrible. After the first day I felt sick all day and that night I was throwing up. I assume it was because of that food. The next day I ordered scrambled egg and it looked like something my dog threw up. Photo of this attached. We couldn’t eat much breakfast there as a result. On day two we woke up to no water. Irish water had turned it off but until I rang there was no communication about this. Luckily I had some bottled water to wash (in covid times) and brush our teeth. It was handled poorly by management. Although it was out of his control he could have told us and then gave us bottled water. I would have been screwed if I had none being away alone with a child. When it did work, the shower was faulty too, it took over 5 mins to heat up. Overall it was a lot of money and you would expect a comfortable room, water and a decent breakfast. It was disappointing. Our first holiday in over 2 years with covid so it was a shame. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and B&Bs in the past, mainly for work and this is the second worse I’ve stayed in.

The view from the room was beautiful and the B&B is in a central location.

Not being accommodated where booked, being placed in a scruffy building down the road, yet expect to dine in another premises. Unacceptable, when booking I based a decision on the pictures and reviews on the Rolling Wave guest house and don't expect to be accommodated elsewhere. The room don't have items specified, eg no tea/coffee maker, radio, carpeted, wardrobe. There was queuing for Breakfast, as unable to cope with the guests from two premises. Staff had a poor grasp of English and discourteous, probably due to dealing with excessive guest.

Not very clean. I found hair on my sheets, toilet seat was broken. I booked for 1 adult and 2 children but only one bed. There was a sofa bed but very uncomfortable and no sheets for it. When I opened the sofa bed, it was filthy and I found an old make up brush
