Absolutely fantastic, so clean and comfortable in such an idyllic and tranquil setting. The honesty bar with the pool table and dartboard made our stay , and Kerry and Clare were unbelievable hosts ♥️ We can’t wait to stay here again !!

There is absolutely nothing not to like

Private, lovely and clean, so comfortable and the facilities next door to our room exceeded expectations. This is an amazing place to stay and well situated for travel into Dublin or for exploring f out towards the midlands. Also great if you are over for horse racing or motor racing

Absolutely nothing. You couldn't fault Clara Lodge.

We absolutely loved our stay at Clara Lodge & are planning to go back! Our room was absolutely gorgeous & so clean. Everything looked new! The bonus of having the games room next door & mini kitchen was a lovely surprise! They even offer an honesty bar! Kerry the host is a real character! The communication from him from we first booked was excellent. Nothing is a problem for him. His directions were spot on. Nearby is a variety of lovely places to eat. Lock 13 was amazing. Takeaway menus supplied by Kerry & also available on the Just Eat all. Free WiFi & access to Netflix etc on the tv in the games room are all made available by Kerry. My husband said we aren't to tell anyone about Clara Lodge as we might find it harder to get booked in ourselves! There are two guest rooms available & Kerry kindly showed us the second one which was just as lovely as ours. The bar/kitchen/games room is in between the two rooms. You have to see it for yourself! Photos don't do it justice! There was everything we needed at no extra cost for a breakfast of cereal, toast & yoghurt. Tea & coffee etc also included. And what's not to like about an honesty bar! Thank you so much Kerry for this fabulous set up and your hospitality & craic! We will definitely be back soon!

Loved staying here. Our host Kerry was very friendly and made us feel instantly at home. The room has a sports room with pool table and bar/kitchen area next door which we used a lot for breakfast and the odd frame of pool. Hoping I get the chance to stay again.

Had a brilliant stay! Kerry is so helpful and welcoming. Lovely clean room with everything you need. Fabulous bar room with pool table, darts and everything you need for breakfast. Beautiful grounds, perfect for walks. Will definitely be back!

There was nothing we didn’t like about the place, everything was brilliant. The only thing we would have maybe liked would have been a TV in the room just for in the evening and mornings.

Tiny wash hand basin with large cabinet close above it, so very difficult to clean your teeth.

Quiet location, clean accommodation, comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast items provided and it was convenient to make own breakfast in well appointed communal kitchen.

Clara Lodge was great. Really enjoyed my time here , bed was comfortable and shower was amazing. Other facilities that where included where fantastic .Gentleman of a host aswell
