Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Lovely guest room, good size room, had a cute little cafe/vendor downstairs for breakfast/lunch and of course the bar for evening/night, was close enough to the town and had a few shops around the bar too. Bed very comfy and bathroom clean! Staff were very nice and helpful :)

United KingdomLocation is very good, only a 10 minute walk into town. Good value for a couple of nights stay. Large comfy bed and decent size of bathroom. Rooms have a separate entrance from the bar. As we stayed mid week it was quiet enough,no noise from the bar. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Room has everything you need.

IrelandThe rooms are above a busy public house with function room. There was a birthday party the night I stayed which may have impacted someone trying to have an early night. But it finished by midnight so did not effect me at all.
Conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre. Very friendly and helpful host, Liam, and staff. There is an adjacent café the Shack on the site which served breakfast additonal to the room fee. The pub itself is very good. Nice creamy pints....

United KingdomThe only thing was how the place looked from outside. We were all a little doubtful but once inside, we were welcomed, shown our room and we loved it. The food shack beside the hotel was great for breakfast!!
All the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The room was the nicest of our 6 night stay. Clean and sockets near mirrors is a crucial thing for us ladies. Not a fault of the property but be aware it’s hard to get late food in Wexford. We couldn’t find anywhere except for the chippy and that was closed by the time we got to it :(

IrelandOnly thing I could suggest changing would be having real cups instead of paper ones. You can't rinse out and re-use the paper ones more than once. Otherwise all was great!
Room was clean and spacious, check-in and check-out were easy. Room was away from pub area so it was very quiet. A short walk from town, free bottles of water were a lovely touch!

IrelandThe bedroom was lightly marred by a too-soft bed and creaky floor-boards. Sinnotts bar appears to be a very traditional "mans" bar with a slight and pervasive smell of stale beer which reached into the accomodation overhead. Since we slept well, take that as comment rather than serious complaint
The ensuite bedroom was bright and clean and we slept well. Breakfast was available from a co-venture, The Shack, operating from a small container in the car park. there was a subsantial selection from traditional Full Irish to fruit and cereal choices. Special mention goes to the fried eggs, best in class! Good cup of coffee too. We were met by the manager of the accomodation who was courteous and helpful, especially in relation to parking. I'd rate him as a typical Wexford business-man - they're a special friendly breed.

United KingdomOnly small downsides were that our room was very hot. It had had the sun shining on it all day. Very unusual for July 2023. My wife found the road a bit noisy, but it didn’t bother me.
Easy to find. Liked the pub. Very friendly staff. Large room and large comfy bed. Short walk into the centre of town. Dead handy to get to the ferry in Rosslare.
