We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location, easy walk into Portmagee, ideal for exploring Valentia island. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Thanks to June & Declan, both fantastic hosts.

IrelandThe only negative I could find was no shower gel , it did not state toiletries would be provided on list of facilities, so the onus is on me.
Nicely decorated , plenty of socket points, very comfortable bed, just across the bridge from Portmagee, with beautiful scenic views. Complementary tea, coffee and herbal teas . June and Declan were great hosts.

IrelandAbsolutely nothing, you couldn’t ask for better. I only expect that this place will prove to be very popular and will be hard to book again.
The location is superb, close to Portmagee for Skellibg trips and the local restaurants. It is beautifully quiet and self contained(no adjoining rooms so no other guests) and on a clear night you can see the stars. Safe and secure with plenty of parking. Both the room and bathroom are newly decorated so everything is very fresh, having a fridge is a nice touch. Declan the host was super helpful and his food recommendations were spot on. Looking forward to going back.

IrelandSome small amenities were missing, but we have been in touch with June about them and are confident this will be rectified. We recognise that this is a new venture for her.
June, our hostess, was very accommodating when we rang to say we were delayed and would not make the 8 pm check-in. In fact she advised us to stop and have a meal along the way as local restaurants would be closed.
