Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Nothing loved it and would 100% recommend.
The owner greeted me when I arrived and made sure I had everything and was comfortable, extremely pleasant and couldn't do enough for me nothing was a problem.

Bathroom in room 1 was a bit small (but perfectly adequate for me as an average height/size solo traveller), but if you're large/tall then best to ask the host for a room with a big bathroom in the special requests when booking
Includes a generous full irish breakfast, friendly attentive host, 5-10min walk from everything in the town centre, bus stops and the start of the Greenway

Room & B&B were immaculate. The welcome & hospitality from Kay was fantastic! I will definitely be back again! Highly recommended, as is lovely Dungarvan!

I liked it all. St. Anthony's B & B is perfect for a Short break in Dungarvan.
Easy walk into Dungarvan centre and harbour.

Nothing to improve
I really enjoyed it, breakfast tasty. Great location. Was directed towards beautiful beach about 1 mins walk away. Its right beside a centra shop and so near town.

The location is great, few minutes walk from town centre. The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the passion Kay puts in welcoming her guests. I have stayed previously at St Anthony's B&B and was very happy with my stay so i decided to return. This time i took a friend with me. Although I initially booked a single room, after my friend decided to join me, i texted Kay and asked her if there would be any luck for a double room, which was facilitated for us. She was also very kind to keep our backpaks for the day, which we appreciated lots. Would always return.

Nothing to add here as I liked and enjoyed my short stay and would use St Anthony's again on my journey/trip back again.
Excellent full breakfast with everything I expected. The landlady was very efficient and very helpful and very informative with local helpful information. This was very useful if going out locally.

Nothing not to like.
Kay is an excellent host in a very clean, very cosy and very comfortable bed and breakfast. Walking distance to town. Shop next door. The best breakfast you could wish for. And super value for money.

nothing - very clean apartment with everything you need. Initially thought it slightly dated but that was overcome by Kay's hospitality.
We were shocked when we were informed that breakfast was not included. As a B&B we never considered that breakfast was not included. Especially as a review from a person staying in the same apartment as we did praised the good breakfast. However Kay our host did not disappoint us and provided us with a lovely breakfast. 100 per cent credit to her.

Great location, on the north side of the river so right beside the start of the greenway. Breakfast was fantastic. Kay was lovely and so helpful. The mattress was high quality and very comfortable. The room was very clean and nicely designed to fit everything that I could practically need. All round it was fantastic.

Lovely place to stay , harbour and rent bike for Greenway 2 mins walk away. Tasty breakfast, lovely room with TV and ensure, grocery store right next door, bus stop 2 minute walk, lovely and friendly owner, would highly recommend this place

I had no dislikes.
Everything I experienced at my stay at St. Anthonys was superb. Kay is running an excellent B&B. I felt that this lady really knows how to treat her guests. The B&B is the ultimate in gaining the Irish welcoming experience and Kay delivers it in abundance. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
