Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLocation is in an OK part but not the smartest area of Dublin. Excellent bus and tram service to other areas means this is not a significant problem.
Staff were really really friendly and helpful. We were lucky and had one of the only 3 modernised rooms. Superb rainfall shower with hand held shower as well. The remaining rooms will be done later. Public areas were newly decorated throughout. The weekday breakfast offer of a buffet with eggs, bacon and beans with a full continental breakfast with freshly baked rolls, croissants and unlimited coffee was world class value for money at 10 euros!! Room at 140 euro was also brilliant VFM.

United KingdomThe staff didn’t tell us in advance that there’s no salmon left for the breakfast and didn’t provide us alternative options until we asked for it. We expected at least they should have notified us before sitting down so we can choose another meal from the menu.
The atmosphere and decoration.

United StatesRoom was small, it’s outdated. There were some shady people outside. Also we have to haul our luggage a few steps going in and then a few steps going to our room which is not ideal when you have luggages vacationing.

AustraliaDublin is just expensive so paid what i thought was a lot converted to Australian dollars ($1000) for 3 nights for a very small room with a single bed no fridge. The breakfast only $10Euro was ordinary I think i hit on a bad day but and wouldn't do again. The bacon that day was off tasted foul and no one was touching it.
Fantastic location so close to the spire and all other attractions . I didn't need any transport apart from to and from the airport and the desk in my room has meant i can do writing and work . I make my travel plans on the fly and have extended for two nights before flying to Egypt.

United StatesMy room was small, i knew it would be from reviews and i did go for the cheapest room. luckily for me it was on the first floor because I had lots of luggage. And for me, my room was just a place to lay my head for the night.
the staff, especially the night staff, were amazing! i mostly talked to the night staff after getting in for the night. So kind and helpful! Location was great, buses outside the door. a lot of the day tours took off near by. I walked everywhere, so it was close enough to walk. It was about a mile to temple bar, few blocks to Murray's. I loved the location, quite, and not to far away from places I wanted to go.

IrelandNo Aircon or fridge, there was a fan which helped but not as good as Aircon & the weather was very mild. Also booking.com stated there was a coffee machine in room but there wasn't. Also booking com stated that guests are giving chocolates in room booked(quadruple)but none giving. I said it to staff in hotel they said no they don't provide coffee machine in rooms or give chocolates to guests. But it is good hotel & staff very nice & helpful PS one of the bedside lamps didn't work probably just needed new bulb i mentioned this when checking out.
Room booked very nice & clean & big the staff in the hotel are very nice and helpful also you can open the window l so would stay there again

United KingdomWe stayed in room 508, the door to this room kept sticking which required us to slam in order to close it, the wall between the room and the corridor was also quite thin so we could hear people coming and going, the mattress also was not the most comftable but was sufficient. However all these issues are minor and it was still a great stay
Hotel was easy to access and the bathroom was newley fitted which was a nice touch, staff were friendly during check in and pointed out to us were we could purchase toothpaste when we needed to get some.
