Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandI don’t mind the room being small or narrow. My concern was when the people beside me came into their room I could hear them speak. Which was abit annoying. I had the breakfast the next day and was a bit disappointed with the hot food. I was expecting a bit more choices but then again it was only €10 I did make the most it and it was lovely.
My room was what was shown in the photo which I liked. It was lovely and neat. Great location, near pubs and restaurants.

IrelandLounge - there is a beautiful lounge area but not really staffed, nor did it have the atmosphere of a bar - but not really a problem - we popped next door to Cassidys for one drink before bed - it’s a pity we didn’t really feel that was an option in our hotel. But a small negative.
Staff - very pleasant and helpful Value - brilliant price for the quality of hotel Location - opposite the hospital we were visiting

CanadaA mini fridge would have been great, but no worries we were able to solve that problem, by purchasing a large quantity of ice. We had purchased some cheese and must needed to keep it cool. At first we were leary about the location, being by Parnell Square. We were in Dublin, at the location just less than 3 weeks before, where the incident with the youth and Garda occured. When we returned to Dublin, there was increased police presence, and a lot more security about. We were never afraid. The entrance to the hotel and rooms is also very secure. You use a keycard. There is also always somebody at reception. The area nearby, looks pretty rough, off on the side section of Parnell. It would be wise, just as in any city, to avoid this area.(not a tourist area). If; however; you stay on this section of the street and on O'Connell, you are quite safe, well lit areas, lots of traffic and leople about. I would stay here anytime! We loved it,
Check in and out were easy. Helen at the reception desk, was able to accomodate our wish for a room with a view, within a short time period, allowing us to store our bags, while we waited. She offered breakfast, or which we partook, on our second day. It was very adequate, with a fair selection and variety, and worth the cost. There was a cute littlle bar on the first floor. We did not drink there, but it looked inviting! Our room was very large, and had a lot of character! High ceilings, lot of woodwork, an old fireplace that was now non functional, but decorative. Our bedding was comfortable as well. Surprisingly, we had a bathtub! Great for a good soak! Toiletries were provided. There was a hairdryer, iron, and a lovely coffee bar in the room. The boutique hotel was close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. There were good transport links as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. They suggested area pubs and restaurants, helped print some travel documents, seemed to provide those extra touches to make it feel homey. Thankyou.

LatviaI could hear every single snore and conversation of the other guests 🤣 Need repair in bathroom ceiling. Was a little cold for me. (Heater had no uk adapter to plug it in) Had some issues with the taxi at 3am, but they explained later, that it wasn't from their end( as there is no night reception, I couldn't do anything about it at my check out). Happy that I still got to the airport in time.
Ok for 2-3* ,acceptable. Top location for me! Also have a bus stop right infront of the hotel. Receptionist took a good pictures of me at their beautiful dining room interior. Was clean. Comfy bed.

United KingdomThe room overlooked the back yard and staff were shouting out there. The toilet backed up a bit. The bed was a bit odd with a mattress and duvet too big for the bed really. No written information, all on a QR code, excluding anyone who can't or doesn't use QR codes. Not big problems.
Nice functional room with all the necessities, not much storage. Clean and quiet with pleasant staff. The window opened and the temperature could be controlled, the television worked, which is unusual in budget stays. It's nice, I recommend it for a short stay.

United KingdomBuilding was loud at night and in the morning. Was woken up at night from people above us and in the morning by slamming doors and loud footsteps on the stairs. The car park we were recommended to stay in by the hotel (parkrite on Parnell street) was a short distance however our car was broken into during the night. The window had been smashed and apparently this is something that has happened multiple times before. I don’t think the hotel should be recommending this car park anymore.
Staff very friendly and room was well stocked and clean. The location is great! Tram stops very close and lots of shops and bars surrounding.
