Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandWe love the location! It was our 2nd visit. You can walk easily to the center of town. We like to visit the Hugh Lane Gallery around the corner. We saw an excellent play at the Gate Theater, a 5 minute walk away.

United StatesThe bed was uncomfortable - I could feel the springs in my back. It was loud - my room was directly below the dining room and I could hear chairs loudly scraping across the hard wood floors all day and night. The staff was disinterested and unhelpful.
It was in a remarkably convenient location.

ItalyThe location near the centre.
The location near the centre so quite comfortable, but the hotel didn't meet my expectations:I requested a double room and I found three single beds, not very clean, very noisy and on the last day only little toilet paper left

United KingdomThe state and quality of the bedrooms and bathrooms, really disappointing. Was fairly speechless. The cost was outrageously expensive also (approx Euro 550 a night) which was only prepared to pay because of seeing a concert at Croke Park.
Location was great, staff interaction good.

United KingdomThe room wasn’t ready for the time requested and agreed. We had to wait for 45min untill it was available. The room was meant to be a 3 single bed room and we got given 1 single bed and a double. Two friends had to share a double so wasn’t ideal

IrelandMostly the location, it is very flexible since it’s in the city centre. I’ve stayed here a few times and the staff even remembered me which made me feel at home haha. I love the rooms, small but spacious. I highly recommend this place!

United KingdomBrilliant small hotel with very comfortable beds. The hotel is full of character and not like the normal modern day corporate hotels that we usually stay in. The little bar was perfect for us and our friends and family to enjoy a few drinks after the all Ireland final. Really close to the city centre but also away from all the noise. A special word on the staff, they were exceptional and really made you feel like you were in your own home. I can honestly say that I have never been as well treated before and I don't mean with false smiles but with genuine friendliness.

United StatesThe room is slanted. It is very slanted. The floor cracks. When you stand in the bathroom long enough to brush your teeth, you can feel vertigo because the room is slopped on one side very badly. So bad to the point you can feel it when you sleep on the bed. I have to sleep on the other side of the bed. The reason I booked this place was it offered 3 beds but when we checked in, they said it is not available. I would definitely stayed at a different place if I knew the room was so poorly built. And if they didn’t have the 3 beds option.
Staffs are pleasant. The front deak ladies and the lady who works at the bar. The little lobby area is nice.

IrelandThe door of the room is broken, there is no socket beside the bed and the room is too hot. There is one window but can only be open for like 5 centimetres and the fan is useless.
The location is good but over priced for an old fashioned hotel.

CanadaBathroom was full of mould, doors don’t open all the way, as the space is too small, so you squeeze yourself into the room, very old building in only reasonable repair. No parking, shower runs hot then cold then really Hot then cold…
