Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSome water pressure issues.
Very musician friendly with a piano & stage in the garden being a nice touch. Loved the free cosy/arty vibe that just makes everyone staying there a lot more open. Big fan of the chickens and the dandy didmonts. Extremely eco-conscious! Pretty much how I pictured every hostel when being told rambling stories by worldly friends.

United StatesThere were a few deposits that were paid to get our keys and a towel, and those could only be paid in cash so make sure you have cash on you!
This hostel was amazing! Very cozy atmosphere, staff were very kind and accommodating. They also knew lots about stuff to do in the area! Multiple lounge rooms and places to meet other travelers! Big kitchen to store and cook food along with free spices for you to use! We had breakfast included which had all the staples (toast, fruits, juices etc). Our room was a 8 person room, beds were bunk beds and they each had a darkness curtian, light and outlet. Additionally, locked storage was under each bed. Our room also had a sink in it. Bathrooms and showers in the hostel were great. The hostel runs a coffee shop as well which was great for coffee and tea in the morning. Overall very clean and very comfortable!

GermanyOnly complaint I have is that there is mold in the bathroom.
The beds were really comfortable and have a privacy curtain. The shared spaces are looked after well and especially the kitchen was really nice. Breakfast was nothing special, but nice to have. The staff were also incredibly nice and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

GermanyIf you want things to be hygienic, this is the wrong place. He should rather look for a 4 star hotel.
It's more than just a hostel. You immediately feel like you have arrived here. Like in a temporary shared apartment. Very familiar. Small and not too many guests. It's right next to the national park. Very committed employees who always have an open ear. Music was also regularly played in the living room in the evenings. In the morning there was a barista coffee shop right next door that belongs to the hostel. And freshly baked bread for breakfast. I will visit the hostel again. Thank you Kev and the other staff for the great time. It is also important to mention that there are 4 lovely dogs in the hostel (not for allergy sufferers)

The whole vibe is awesome. The staff is really nice, the whole interior is great and there‘s a herb garden and free stuff which you can use like herbs, eggs and whatever guests are leaving. Breakfast is also great. Toast, Cereals, Eggs, Bread, Jam and fruits. Instant coffee, different kind of teas, milk, orange juice

United KingdomThere was an artisanal/hippie vibe, but not at the expense of comfort and cleanliness; as a result, the experience was unique, but without the downsides that can come from being alternative.

AustraliaThe shower, even though the water was lovely and hot, the space in the room was quite small. I left the door slightly ajar just to be able to dry myself properly.
The Hostel is very convenient for shopping, meals and even though it was a little bit of a walk I had free parking for the night, after 6:30 pm. The art work in the hostel was sensational, and the attention to details was terrific. Plenty of places to sit and relax and talk and make friends. Whoever did the adaptation into a hostel did a fine job, it doesn’t ‘look’ like a hostel, more like a big house with friends visiting.
