Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesParking, no onsite parking and no valet parking. Have to take your car to a parking garage they have an arrangement with about 3 blocks away. As a handicapped person the lack of valet parking was unfortunate and inconvenient.
Modern, stylish and high tech, nice Restuarant, staff friendly and helpful.

IrelandThe need to use nearby carpark. It is not a big problem once you know where it is. Would be handy if the map or address of car park was included in the reservation confirmation.

GeorgiaThe room size was a bit smaller than I had expected.
It is a nice, clean, cozy, newly renovated hotel with a super good location. It was pretty expensive, but it was worth it. Dublin, in general, is quite expensive for hotels. It has a well-sized shower and toilet room. The temperature was just perfect, and you could open a window to get some fresh air. It has a good bar and restaurant. Easy to access by taxi or public transport, about 5 min slight up-hill work from the bus stop. The staff was helpful and fully committed to resolving all issues or requests. Thanks to all!

The location is amazing and so central. Can't wait to return. The little details matter and they had umbrellas for you to borrow as it was pouring down when we arrived. Honestly you won't regret your stay here

United KingdomThe food options for Vegan travelers were non existent which was a total shock in 2024. The rooms were very small. The parking was completely offsite.
As a Vegan Traveler, my expectations of Dublin were high, food wise. I couldn't have been more wrong. The breakfast at The Chancery Hotel is a self serve buffet. There was not a single Vegan option available. Not even toast! My only option was fruit. It is misconception that Vegans only eat fruit and salad! We NEED protein just like meat eaters do. We just get it from different sources - mostly wholegrains. However, the Chef very kindly went to a local shop and came back with a bag containing: Flora margarine, some slices of Vegan Cheese, a block of Tofu and a block of Tempeh. He plonked them onto my dining table and told me that was all he could find. He then did not know what to do with any of it! I suggested "Scrambled Tofu" but he had never heard of it, so I suggested he Google a recipe. Which he did. I then received a whole block of scrambled tofu - enough to feed 4 people! But it was delicious! The next morning I received a full cooked breakfast including Vegan sausages AND a dish of scrambled Tofu! He totally nailed it. The rest of the menu's were totally lacking with not a Vegan option - nor foods that could be veganized without massive compromise. I was shocked that a hotel of this standard had such poor food offerings. They did rustle me up a green salad and chips and charged me 14 euro for the privilege. The staff were lovely. All of them. The hotel "car park" is off site and the hotel "validate" your ticket. The cost of parking in the multistory across the way (which is a 5 min drive around the block to get to the entrance which is on a one way street) is 46 euro a day. What the hotel DON'T tell you is that the "validation" only gives you a discount, not free parking! So make sure you pay at the machine in the entrance as you can only tap your card at the exit if it is less than 50 euro. The hotel is very "boutique chic" but the rooms are VERY small.

United StatesI know you are recently opened. Suggest tip sheets in the rooms on how to manage the lighting and temperature interface. We found the comforter on the bed to be too heavy and warm, suggest making lighter blankets available. A more varied dinner and room service menu, with more vegetables and low fat dishes not so heavily spiced would be welcome.
Staff and rooms were great. Bar welcoming and knowledgeable Breakfast buffet great quality and variety. Coffee service in the bar was great.
