Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandOn street parking was very confusing I called prior to arrival and was told there was parking but very few spaces and ensuring it was paid was difficult. Also the rooms were not soundproofed traffic during the night and people walking / talking in the hallway was heard very very clearly.
The hotel is very enjoyable from the lobby area to cinema to rooftop bar to the rooms themselves. Accessibly to luas lines to an from city centre Stella cinema was a well enjoyed experience Food in laylas rooftop bar was fabulous

United StatesGot the room with 1 queen and 1 twin bed. Did not expect the twin bed to be a bunkbed over the queen bed. It is disclosed and shown on The Devlin’s website way better than on the Booking.com listing. It ended up being fine for our party, but I can imagine it’d be more difficult for taller people, people with mobility issues, or even smaller children.
Loved the restaurant on the roof. The bathroom was quite spacious for the room. Easy location to get to.

IrelandBar staff are slightly slow considering it wasn't busy. However, they are polite, professional and courteous.
Location fantastic for my needs. Staff always helpful and rooms have everything you need for your stay. Rooms are small, but perfectly detailed in my opinion. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and I'm always happy to stay here when in Dublin for work.

United Arab EmiratesAvoid the breakfast. Everything was overcooked. Had to send my eggs back, but all items in the Irish breakfast was overcooked. I left most of it uneaten. Also - I was not checked up on during breakfast or offered another coffee. There are plenty of other places in the neighourhood to have breakfast in for better service, food and value for money.
This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. It's central enough to walk everywhere but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin that I like to avoid. Rooms are functional but a little small and could be better soundproofed (noise coming from other rooms). Bed was comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Would consider staying here again.

United StatesI should have looked at the room size, as they are very small, too small for three to be honest. The room’s street noise was moderate as well, but we only stayed one night, so not that big of a deal.
The staff was wonderful. We were touched by the kindness. The rooms are well equipped, and We loved the shower!

IrelandThe only minor problem we had was the seal in our shower wasn't working properly so the bathroom got soaked each time the 3 of us showered.
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We got a free upgrade to a larger room, which was great. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the rooftop bar as we were headed to a concert.
