The rooms are small. Very small. I don't mind the space but it would be nice to have somewhere to put my suitcase other than the floor.

The hotel is very nice. Food and drink options are good. Nice to work in lobby/bar area.

Extra costs; additional €75 taken the next day for parking, breakfast and two drinks in the bar from previous night (they wouldn't take payment at the time). Parking is in an apartment block a good 5 minutes walk from the hotel (unfortunately for us, it was raining) Location isn't really central, so also extra expense of taxis.

Nice vibe, friendly staff, delicious breakfast

Just very small things - no tissues in the room so had to use a roll of toilet paper, no towel rail in the bathroom for the hand towels.

Small but well presented room. Very comfy bed. Excellent shower.

    Nothing

Although the location was a little out of the centre of Dublin (45 min walk fr temple bar) I would stay here again as the area was lovely and I felt safe alone with my young daughter. The hotel was incredible. Rooms were amazing & the best mini bar/ snack selection I have ever seen at a hotel. Bed was super comfy & staff were so friendly. We are at Laylas rooftop terrace for breakfast & it was very reasonably priced, food was good & the views - wow! Loved everything about our stay. We will be back on our next trip to Dublin

There was only one thing we didn't like - the mattress cover and bottom sheet did not fit the bed properly and we had to try and fix them regularly.

Happy to recommend The Devlin and we plan to stay here next time we're in Dublin. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, bright and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location right in Ranelagh village, Layla's is a great restaurant for room service and the bath towels are nice and big!

The small double was small but totally fine for one night. Any longer I would prefer a slightly bigger room for 2 people.

Art work was lovely as was the decor. Staff very accommodating and the breakfast was good.

The rooms are quite small, but they make that clear on the website and the rooms are identical to the photos. I was on my own so plenty of room but I'd definitely book a larger room if I hadn't been.

Everything was great - the hotel is well organised, considered and gorgeous. Check-in was very smooth, they let me check in slightly early so no waiting around, though I would happily have waited in the bar, lounge or wandered around Ranelagh. Rooms are lovely and very nicely decorated with everything you need. Bar is gorgeous and the restaurant upstairs has a lovely atmosphere, great staff and the food is great. You can even get takeaway freshly made (delicious) pizza upstairs.

the rooms are pretty much just a small living space. i knew it was small as I did take time to read the reviews but I didn’t expect it to be that small. our room was a double room but the space would really only have been suitable for one. we also got a room at the from of the building which I did adore the views for however even with the windows all shut, you could still hear the public at the bar just down the road and you could hear people move the bins etc.

the bed was SUPERRR comfy!! like oh my I can’t even begin to explain how comfy it was. i just curled into a ball and fell straight asleep! the room was very modern and cute which I adored, the aesthetic was very pleasing and it fitted in with the scene of the hotel. our room had loads of amenities like hair dryers etc and a very good selection of towels which was handy! the TV was right on the wall at the bottom of the bed also which made good for not having to get out of the bed to turn the switch off!!

This is the best hotel in Dublin! Everything was great: location, staff, comfort, breakfast and value of money. Coffee like in the best restaurants in Italy 😋 Yes, room was too small but I stayed overnight so that was no issue for us.
