Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandWe booked a taxi for our wedding the following morning and asked for a nicer car if possible. We were told later in the evening this wasn't an option but booked a regular taxi anyway. Expected a call to the room at the time it was booked for but had to head down to the lobby...it wasn't there and was 15 minutes late. This was extremely stressful for such an important occasion and we barely made it on time. There is a shortage of taxis in the city but witnessed several people getting taxis straight from the lift during our stay with seemingly no trouble. Unforgiveably bad service from a 5 star, especially considering the event we neeeded the taxi for, our own wedding. Should have gone to the rank at Stephen's Green. The room was quite small considering the price, but the view and balcony made up for this. Heating system was noisy during the night and the hotel probably needs refurbishment.
Breakfast was exceptional. Great choice in the buffet and the cooked breakfast. Claire on the reception desk was so nice and pleasant on check-in. We received free prosecco and chocolates during our stay as we were getting married which was a lovely touch.

IrelandRooms feel a bit dated - furniture/carpet etc probably need upgrading, would make a big difference. Breakfast a bit disappointing, great menu but the quality of the food that came out wasn’t great (pancakes were burnt, porridge was swimming in maple syrup) and service wasn’t like the reception staff.
Great location, nice lobby. underground car park very handy if driving. complimentary minibar was great. Reception staff were excellent.

United Kingdomon arrival it would have been so good to know we were assured of a meal and a table, but there were no tables left in restaurant on so we had to perch in bar. If f we had been asked beforehand we could have asked for a table. Please ask in advance for guests’ preference.

Bulgariatoo noisy restaurant, they promised to give us a breakfast box with coffee at the morning check-out (2 am) - no one knows about that on reception. No concierge for parked car and 15 mins looking at the parking for our car. The food was not well seasoned. Breakfast was OK. Тhey refused to give us an invoice even though the stay was 100% paid in advance

IrelandThis is not a 5 star hotel. Its a really nice 4 star hotel. They are missing the fine details of a 5 star. For example, food tray left outisde a room for 24 hours. 1 glass given for 2 people in the room. Blind coming loose off the bracket. Dirty pillows on the couch. Shower a bit dirty. All little things that arent an issue but you dont see these things in a 5 star hotel where its all about details.
Lovely hotel right in the heart of the city. Breakfast is amazing. Staff really nice and helpful.

United KingdomThere was a stale smell on our 4th floor corridor, like a mouldy mop. We arrived to our room there was a welcome note and cookies but made out in someone else’s name. There were herniated springs in the mattress in an otherwise comfortable bed. The mini fridge was not working, positively warm-could have been user error, limited instructions! Like many hotel rooms it had poor layout, I need a chair near a socket and a mirror to use a hairdryer and decent natural light to put on makeup.
location excellent, and room interior decor was nice Art Deco. Complimentary mini bar :-))
