Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Option of earlier breakfast time would be beneficial. Breakfast starting at 6.45 am was too late for us on our first morning.

Big comfortable room. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, I was delighted to receive an umbrella on our departure as it was raining outside! Well done the Gresham!! Breakfast was delicious.

Our room was a little small with only one chair, so not ideal with one sitting and one on the bed. Another time we would choose a bigger room.
Large open plan foyer and bar areas, breakfast rooms were delightful. Excellent breakfast each day, one of the best.

I like the location The beds were very comfortable and the room very spacious. However the echo in the hallways with doors slamming through out the early morning and late evening was much - there needs to be a soft touch close to the doors or carpeting in the hallway to absorb some of the sound - also the floors in the room need to be mopped - the cleaning staff was good but it was not the most thorough clean. I would get out of the shower and my feet would be dirty if on the room floor. Also more outlets needed in the room! No outlet in the bathroom is odd. Breakfast and front desk/ food and beverage staff were very good. Location was very good as well.

Having to wait until 3 pm to check in after traveling from Cork, also breakfast was poor...not very hot.

I was very unimpressed with the room. When I booked it on booking.com , it said it was marked down from 536 to 295euro ..well room 202 was definitely not worth 536 euro... for that price you definitely expect a bigger room. To add insult to injury I had given this to my husband for his birthday and had really saved up for it and made sure I had it paid off a month in advance.. Well he googled it and the price hefound was a 170 including breakfast... but we did enjoy it.. It was a treat nonetheless...
Breakfast was amazing 👏 Staff was amazing. We sat in the evening in the pub for a quick bite to eat.. Keith couldn't have been more courteous and the sandwiches were scrumptious.

The only negative thing was the shower pressure wasn't great and the water was either too hot or too cold.
The location is fantastic, right in the center of town. The room was a little small but very nice. The bed was excellent! Overall we had a lovely stay.

The shower had a glass wall which you could easily walk into when leaving the bathroom after using the toilet. I believe we were in a room for someone disabled, so maybe this did not apply in a standard room. We overcame the problem by hanging a towel over the glass wall. Maybe some sticky pattern could be put on the wall to make it more visible.
There was an excellent choice at breakfast and the staff were very good clearing away used dishes etc. Also the breakfast was served over a long time period, great if you wanted to lie in a little or if you wanted to get an early morning flight. The hotel was in an ideal location and the Aircoach 700 transport from the airport stopped practically on the doorstep of the hotel, very convenient.
