Its always a pleasure to stay here! The staff and the views are the best part! Delicious Chicken Vol-au-vent at dinner was one of the nicest things i've had in a long time! The views from Room 5 are breathtaking!

ALarm went off numerous times throughout the night Alarm seemed to go off if openeded front door of hotel no reception staff at reception throughout the night

Judy on reception the next day as she tackled both my brother & saying one of us never paid for the room, in fact we paid on arrival the evening before , took ages to sort & when she finally realised we had, we got no apology. Also a room near by had a couple fighting loudly at 5am in their bedroom for ages 😡

Stayed in room 6 which was over / close to the bar, we were on a family break with our 4 month old daughter. As the room was close to the bar we found it difficult to get our daughter to sleep due to the noise, would not recommend as a family room. If we were staying as a single couple it would have been fine. I'm sure if we had of requested a different room the staff would have done everything to help. Not an issue of the hotel, in future we know the questions to ask before we settle in for the night.

The staff were very welcoming, pleasent and helpful. The location and rooms were beautiful.

Stairs to room were filthy. first room given had no desk or area to work from. Second room had dirt and stains on desk, cobwebs on back of desk, skirting board (dead spider in corner) and on the walls. No hot water in morning for shower. Breakfast starts @ 8.15am (too late for working person) and dinner finished @ 7.30pm (too early for working person) on checkout i was not even asked how was my stay.

Beautiful sea view from the front of the hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast. The staff was friendly and welcoming, absolutely nothing to complaain about! And also a very lovely town!

Great Location overlooking the Sea .

We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel is a hitten gem the staff are so friendly there was Anna Lu Margaret and Grace theses lovely ladies will look after you for Breakfast snacks and Dinner and the Food was delicious and always nice and hot the hotel was just perfect.

Garden room not part of Hotel.. 50 to 100 yards away! so didn't feel like staying In a hotel...just a room with no hotel atmosphere and convenience. Lucky it was not raining.. No garden view??so why called a garden room?? Would have exexpected access to a small terrace. For breakfast for some reason we were squashed into what seemed like a front bar area , when there was a fabulous proper dining room with plenty of views and space just next door... The waitresses had to rush around re-cleaning tables for next customers when they should have been attending to the people already seated. Management review badly needed.!)

We booked The Haven last minute for the night and had a brilliant experience. From the food (including vegan options), the pints of Guinness, the live music, the location within walking distance of beautiful beaches, the cliff walk and woodland to the delicious breakfast we loved it all, would definitely recommend and will be back in future. there was no plug socket beside the bed, I had to move the bed to get to one behind the headboard. mattress was soft and not supportive. breakfast didn’t start until 8.15…this is not suitable for people who are on a work trip.
