Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNot a negative but more a note for those that have mobility issues. All three rooms are up a steep flight of stairs. I was given the biggest room but felt uncomfortable trying to sleep in a bunk bed so ended up on the futon the full stay. An adult cannot sit up on the bottom bed and I have vertigo and joint issues, so hard to climb up and down from top bunk. It would be a huge improvement if maybe a double bed replaced the bunk beds at some point.
very clean and spacious room with plenty of blankets and hangers for clothes.

Czech RepublicVery kind hostess. She showed us everything and told us everything, gave us her leap card so that we could easily travel on public transport. The house has an excellent kitchen. Not far from the house there is a large area where you can walk your dog.

NetherlandsShared bathrooms with only a single toilet is not the best. The beds are a bit on the small side if you're longer than 180cm and have pocket springs that can be felt. However, everything is as described and very neat.
We got a great welcome with interesting information on what to do in Dublin. The location is not too bad when using public transport. Everything was very clean even ths shared use kitchen. Good value for money

United KingdomThe location was somewhat distant from the centre of the city, though it was well served by the local number 9 bus service.
The property was exactly as described. There was clarity about all aspects relevant to staying at the facility. The rooms were clean and fit for purpose. The house was quiet and it was possible to use the shared kitchen to prepare food.

UkraineSometimes the room was a little cool because... The heating comes on periodically. The beds have electric sheets which add to the comfort. We also sometimes heard our neighbours, and I think they heard us too.
The apartments are wonderful. I would like to express special gratitude to the owner Austin, he was always in touch and provided separate, very convenient instructions on how to get to the accommodation, where to buy a bus card, etc. He is very sociable and friendly. The apartments are 2 minutes from the bus stop. From the centre, it takes about half an hour without transfers. I liked that you could use absolutely everything in the kitchen: there is a stove (gas), microwave, kettle, oven, etc. There were also additional products from the owners, which could also be freely used. It was very convenient. There is also a store with everything you need a couple of minutes away and a bar 10 minutes away))) If we go to Dublin again, I would like to stay in these same apartments.

Australia- Host's dogs were very loud and aggressive whenever I would walk into the house which was a little irritating.
- Location was really good for specific attractions like Conor McGregors Pub (The Black Forge Inn), SBG Ireland and Drimnagh Castle. Also good bus route to get to the heart of Dublin. - Host was really kind, provided advice, answered questions and assisted when needed be. Even going above and beyond by giving me his leap card whilst in Ireland and dropping me off at the airport as he needed to go there anyway. - The place was nice and clean. - Plenty of utilities (share fridge, breakfast bar, plenty of bathrooms, etc). - Comfy Bed. - Very well decorated house on the inside with fancy lighting.

Czech RepublicThere were two bathrooms but only one with toilet. When there are more guests it can be time consuming. But it's not the big deal.
The host was super nice! We had delayed flight so we cannot make it to official check-in. We called to host and he woke up and accommodate us. No matter time he showed us everything and explained shops, stops etc. The attitude of the host was really great! I think it's great place to stay.

CanadaThe owners just need to update their directions to the house and should clarify that their bus stop is Cherry Grove 2433. Downloading the Transport for Ireland bus App will help.
The owners were very nice and helpful. They have transformed their home into short term accommodation. The family is downstairs while guests are upstairs. It is a great jumping off point for seeing Dublin. Once you get an understanding that the #9 bus brings you right to the town center it is a breeze to get to and from downtown. It is a little far from the Dublin core but you get to meet the real people of Dublin on the bus each morning and you are not overcome by the noise of Temple Bar at night. A true taste of the Dublin burbs.

AustraliaIt's quite far from the city so you need to take a bus to and from anywhere you need to go. Not difficult but not super convenient. The shared kitchen was quite dirty at times.
The rooms were really nice and large so we spent a bit of time relaxing in the rooms. The facilities were good and there was a kitchen we could use. The neighbourhood was quiet and the building very secure.
