Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I'll loved everything about the place thanks
The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable got clean towels everyday bottles of water everyday tea coffee sugar kettle in the room you can make yourself a cuppa anytime and got milk everyday you wouldn't even think that there was dogs staying in the room the place was so clean I loved it well be back thanks to everyone that works here brill the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly the place was so clean even bring your dog into the restaurant thanks everyone Betty and Charles mcnally

Found the pod bedrooms a bit warm and stuffy. A window to open would help to let air and light in!
Great ambiance and buzz. Staff hard working, very friendly and helpful. Bed comfy and shower great. Fantastic entertainment on both nights, particularly the traditional musicians and talented audience members! Super location for exploring Sliabh Liag.

Nothing- all was great.
We did not stay for breakfast although had dinner on the night of our stay. The fish and chips and steak sandwich were absolutely delicious and the dinner service was very fast. Thank you!

The only gripe (and it’s petty) was that the bed could have been that wee bit bigger. It is a double but the basic size of one. Not ideal for the fuller figure but adequate I suppose.
Superb food, great Guinness and very attentive staff within a traditional rustic Irish pub filled with charm and great live music. Accommodation is exceptionally clean.

Drink a wee bit pricey.

A little taken back when we realized that the rooms were just “pods” aka no windows or TV (tv not necessary). Guess I missed that detail from the pictures.
The location was great for visiting Slieve League and west Donegal. Breakfast was good and staff were very attentive. Rooms very functional (small, but clean and comfortable)

Possibly service behind the bar but no major hassle
From the Initial welcome to the Final goodbye you could not ask for anymore. Location,facilities,food,drink and scenery were all exceptional with something for everyone.

some of the bar staff weren’t great there was a tin blonde girl with no manner on first night , but second night there was another blonde hair girl hair up she was fantastic and a lovely welcome for everyone.

It's a shame there are no windows in the room, it felt a bit claustrophobic in that respect and maybe wouldn't stay again for that reason. We stayed somewhere else the night before but ate here 2 nights in row. Its a shame there is only 1 coeliac friendly meal stated on the menu, member of staff checked with the chef to tweak a couple of other things on the menu so that they were gluten free which was helpful, but it would be good to have separate fryers for things like chips etc so they are suitable.
The room was immaculate and comfortable, staff were very friendly too, couldn't fault them, I felt like they went above and beyond. Very good music on in the bar too.
