A bit of a shame that the restaurant was closed, and the pubs / restaurants in Waterville was closing their kitchens from ~19 - 20 o'clock

Too short a stay to say. Nothing sticks out really.

We didn't spend a lot of time. It was more a pit stop. We only came in after dark,and left by 10-11am the next day. It was fine,no issues. Would have loved to try the restaurant but it's only open during the summer/ spring I believe. Fairly oldish building,but looks decent,and clean. The owners were kind enough to upgrade our room. Special thanks for that. Hope to visit at some point in the future again.

Dinner/drinks ate on the expensive side but the food was excellent.

Location was beautiful, got to use the sauna, walk along the beach and watch the surfers, friendly staff, great room, lovely breakfast.

We loved the Relaxation Suite available to guests. It was wonderful, beautiful and clean. The property could not be in a prettier location on the ocean with a gorgeous beach right there to walk on.

Simply superb. Beautifully decorated room with sea view (we were upgraded), very comfortable and good facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. We had dinner in the restaurant and this was top quality with varied seafood options and a high class wine list. Service was very efficient and quick - perhaps a touch too brisk at dinner. Overall, however, hard to beat.

Starting with a huge thanks to the reception staff. The hotel was super nice from all perspectives. Beautiful view , amazing location, comfortable room, and must say it was one of the best restaurants we ever ate in Ireland. Exceptional dinner made our stay even more unforgettable. Breakfast was also amazing. We will definitely come back and we recommend the hotel 1000%. But if you don't stay in this hotel, we strongly recommend you to go there for dinner, you will not regret

Shower ran a little cool for us. The room overlooked a road which was not busy at night but busier in the morning. Quite far from the village so not ideal for eating out.

Great staff, good food, comfortable room. Enjoyed the sauna and spa experience (twice!). Loved the lounge overlooking the sea.

The size of our room was a bit small but only because we were traveling with bags and golf clubs. Aside from that, nothing that we did not like.

Wonderful inn located just walking distance from the beach and Waterville Golf Links. Both owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We also had a great dinner the first night. Unfortunately, we did not try the relaxation but only for lack of time, but we were able to enjoy walks on the beach and sip a beer in the garden. Breakfast offers a selection of continental options as well as eggs and oatmeal, the latter one very delicious We will surely come back.

Location was 12/10 if you plan to golf at waterville. The owners/ staff were fantastic and very accommodating. The breakfast was great and recommended. Stay here!

The pillows. Not the facility's fault. We all like different things.

In a great location. Unfortunately, I had a migraine my entire visit and slept most of it. However, my partner had dinner, and he was very happy. He thoroughly enjoyed it. He liked walking along the cliffs and said the view was fantastic. I was able to get a fan, which was lovely. A bonus to the walk-in shower.

Not for the budget conscious but paid more for a lot less.

The staff are professional and very friendly, The dining experience is michelin standard Better than many 5* restaurant experiences. The room was large with comfy bed and a picture frame view of the bay and mountains beyond. The Smugglers inn definitely boxes above it's weight,looking forward to returning in the near future.
