Starting to look a tiny bit shabby decor wise, the bathroom had no heating and no towel rail.

Very friendly staff, great food, great bar, great breakfast, brilliant location. Outstanding massage.

Hotel was very welcoming, with hot punch on arrival. We arrived earlier than expected and we were accommodated very quickly. Bedroom was spacious, bed very comfortable and decor was very ambient, quiet and peaceful. All staff were very friendly and helpful especially Noelle. Food was delicious. Overall a really lovely stay

Absolutely nothing!!!

Room was stunning. Staff were extremely helpful,approachable and friendly. The dining experience was next to none,simply amazing. On checkout we received complimentary coffees for our trip home. We most definitely will be back.

The reception area lacks a presence rather casual. In the reception, staff were okay, but not particularly friendly.

one niggle was that there was a problem with housekeeping - we only got bed made, no tidying or replenishing once, next day nothing, day after nothing. we loved the hotel though but that needs attention

I was pleased to find a turntable and some vinyl records in our room - unfortunately neither were in full working order - a nice idea but not well executed.

Had a very enjoyable two night stay at the Twelve. Room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurants good - excellent dinner at West - with friendly efficient service. We had to leave to early for breakfast service and were provided with take out coffee which was a nice touch.

Poor drainage in tub. We stood in a pool of soap water every time we showered. West restaurant was also closed during our stay and the food in the pub did not meet our standards.

Beautiful location, beautiful hotel, and a beautiful room. The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly and ready to help. I also visited the spa during my stay and it was exceptional

Trendy, quirky, clean, welcoming, lovely staff, great restaurant. LED lights in the bathroom were a hit with my son. Didn’t know it was pet friendly which was a novelty! Would definitely go back.

Other than the restaurant manager, the rest of the staff wasn’t very friendly. First staff to greet us didn’t ask anything just immediately asked us to pay. No smiles or greeting. Also waitresses ill informed about the menus. Burger was too greasy had to return it. Risotto was lovely. We asked did the bread and butter pudding have raisins, waitress said no, it came with raisins. Our drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive so we couldn’t get them before eating. Piece of burger and chips was on the floor by my feet when we sat down. Toilet in bedroom had a stale sewage smell that wouldn’t go away unless we opened all the windows and kept door closed.

Bedroom was lovely, and the location and decor was very nice. Breakfast was good.

Rooms have tiny hallways outside them so if another family is going into their room you will hear them very loudly. Wooden floor in this hallway doesn’t help, probably makes it echo even more. The food was fine but not at all what I was expecting for the price!!! My god, very mediocre. Wouldn’t stay again solely for this reason, the noise you can get over because at the end of the day there are other guests. But the food was pretty normal and with those prices I was expecting much better quality.

Hotel is nice, beds were unbelievably comfortable.

Feel extremely mislead by our restaurant experience. At no point were we made aware of what kind of dinning experience the West Restaurant was offering that night. Hotel rang me 2 days before arrival & I booked dinner in the restaurant, the menu was to be emailed to me but this did not happen. We went to dinner and the 1st course was just served to table when we realised it was not our cup of tea and there was no choice on the menu. We felt it was too late to leave and continued with the dining experience. Water with the meal was charged for, we were not made aware of this and not asked when subsequent bottles of water were just brought to the table either. Ended up paying over 150 as a couple for this set tasting menu.

Room was class, good value for money and the breakfast food was excellent.
