It didn’t bother me at all, but some people may consider the decor to be a bit dated.

The location was great and the accommodation was very comfortable. My double bedroom with private shower room was excellent value for money.

The bed didn't feel like a very clean one. Also, there were too many ppl in one room, which created bag smells and noises. The was supposed to be a breakfast, but didn't find any,

cheap and comfy beg for a night is all I needed. I like common room as well: lots of fun thing there. +large well equipt kitchen.

They charge for every little thing and check out is 10am so just be aware of that. They also take a £200 deposit on site that I didn’t see mentioned anywhere on booking.com so that was a surprise

The metalic beds with no curtains leave the guest with no privacy, and also make some noise during the night while you move. The chestlockers under the beds were ok, but made too much noise when you open or push/pull them from under the bed.

The location in the heart of the city, the rooms were adequate and multiple bathrooms and showers available is a plus.

Although booking had free cancellation suddenly told by email that unless paid before 4pm that day room would be lost as it was Rag Week.,..we were travelling at that time didn't see email until 10.30 pm when they weren't answering phone so sleepless night worrying whether booking secure.......,..suggest you don't try to change the rules at last minute. You would know year ahead dates of Rag Week so don't offer free cancellation for those dates

Probably the guy snoring in my room, but the receptionist quickly gave me some good ear plugs and that solved it. The thing that's nice about the Dawson is that the toilets and showers are in the room, so I don't risk waking up the whole room when I have to pee in the night.

The guests were cool, breakfast was good (especially the flapjacks), and the staff were very helpful. I don't know if they had washing machines but I don't think they did.

Great location, very close to the city center. A lot of options around for food and drinks and everything is at a walking distance. I was surprised also for the breakfast, simple but great options! The design of the shared areas is very nice and modern, it gives a very good vibe!

We really have no complaints. It was great.

We liked that the room was private and had its own private bathroom. We loved the location because it was convenient to get to everything in the area. However, labeling what was offered as breakfast as "breakfast" was a little misleading, but we do recognize that we did not pay much at all for our stay and are satisfied.

Please have the silver step highlighted, as l tripped on it and fell from the kitchen, going into the hallway, on both of my knees, hands saving me, at approx 8.00 pm 11th Saturday January 2025 The Receptionest was notified, l was in shock. The following morning, at 8.00 a.m., l again told the morning staff the same story and pointed out the health and safety issue. Showing exactly where it happened. I only wear flat shoes. Eyrecourt, Ballinsloe, Galway.
