Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThere are lots of narrow staircases, especially if your room is on the top floor. Something to consider if anyone in your group has any mobility issues (I currently have a torn meniscus and struggled a little bit to get up and down).
Really great value for money. Superb location - close to all the local bars and restaurants.

ItalyI was in a female dormitory of 7 beds. My bed was a triple bunk bed and I was in the lower one... Cleaning could be better too but bathrooms were ok.
Location was very good, near the centre and not too far to the bus station. It's included a breakfast with bread, jam, a cake, fruits, in addition to the use of the kitchen. 1€ for Nespresso. Staff was nice and smiling

TaiwanThe water's pressure of the shower in my room was so weak. I couldn't even use it. But the public showers were good enough. Apart from that, the water's pressure of the public toilets were also too weak to flash.
All the staffs there were super friendly and helpful. The lady chatted with me and recommended me lots of good pubs and restaurants.

TaiwanThere are several bars on the same street. Very noisy till 2-3am especially Thursday-Saturday. Make sure you have earplugs. Couldn't adjust shower flow and temperature, and while that was fine by me, the water only lasted 10-20 seconds. Also, the automatic light turns off every 5-7 minutes during the shower. So you have to keep holding down the button to get in the shower and waving your arms to get the light.
Free breakfast (2 types of bread, butter and 2 types of jams, fruit, coffee, 2 types of tea bags, hot chocolate powder). Comfortable common areas. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is kept clean and tidy. The location is great. 6 minutes walk to the square and 5 minutes to the Lidl supermarket. Free milk. Free food and free shampoo/lotion left by other people. The 6-bedroom room has a relatively large space in the middle compared to other hostels.

CanadaThe rooms are very small and hot. Had trouble sleeping as the room was constantly humid. The matresses are also very slim versus other hostels I visited in Dublin. Bathroom and showers are small but clean.
The location was great. A few steps from the latin quarter and all of the action. There is a little breakfast and coffee served in the morning. Staff is also very friendly.

United KingdomEverything was great about the property. Did find it a bit expensive but it was race week so assuming that’s why.
Staff were lovely. Location is perfect. Really handy to everything. We had a private room with en-suite shower toilet and handbasin. The living area downstairs was lovely and homely and had a great kitchen. Cot was provided for the baby.

IrelandWhile we were happy to have / pay for an en suite room, the wash basin was so small that due to the placement of the soap dispenser right in the centre, it was difficult to wash your face without getting water everywhere. Similarly with the high pressure taps, waster splashed everywhere.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. The room was laid out as expected, but very clean and comfortable. We had an en suite room which was good and the ceiling-mounted paintings were great. The informal breakfast was a lovely welcoming touch.

United StatesThe ONLY thing that I would change is the fact that you have to pay to rent towels. I do understand it, but I wish it was an option that could have been added onto the bill when booking.
I was satisifed with the cleanliness of the room and well as the space in the room. Travelling with family members and everyone had enough of their "own space." The location of the hotel was also 10/10.
