I liked that it was so close to everything. The staff there were exceptionally helpful, especially Brie who helped me check in and out. Great place, would definitely go again.

The room was very hot for some reason. Bathroom is quite small for a room with six people (but this is something that cannot be changed, just an observation!).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is included in the price, but you are also welcomed to use the kitchen for cooking. Location of the hostel is also great.

For one night, I stay mix dormitory My top bunk bed was comfortable I really good night sleep. Fantastic company friendly were other guests staying in my room. As well the staff were very friendly and polite.

We stayed in the apartment across the street from the hostel. Downstairs there is a lounge and kitchen area, and upstairs two bedrooms, shower, and toilet. It is pleasantly decorated and well equipped. There is a smart TV and excellent WiFi. It is on a busy street in the Woodquay area of the city centre, so there is going to be some noise! Accommodation in Ireland is expensive, but we felt to get our money's worth here. We were a family of two adults and one 17 year old and it suited us perfectly.

Just for improvement, I would say it would be nice to find a way to avoid noise made by the doors (dorm doors when you leave and on the top floor the door to the stairs as well) It’s a bit tough to hear the doors bang repeatedly early morning.

At first when you enter the property and go through the typical tiny staircase you think the rest of the place is also going to be cramped… but actually I was pleasantly surprised. The dorm was a reasonable size. I stayed in the 7bed female dorm with bathroom. What I liked most was the atmosphere, the kitchen and lounge area were nice. Nothing fancy but it felt like authentic hospitality. Nice staff. Small breakfast for free, tea and coffee. These are small details but they make a difference. I was also able to get some laundry done for a fee which was nice as well. Galway is a walkable size so the location was quite convenient to go everywhere.

Bed-side electric sockets not functioning. Room doors are 'heavy' and so when even someone shuts the door, the whole hostel almost 'shake' . The pots and pans are worn out , making the base uneven and so poor contact with the surface of the induction cooker and so difficult to cook.

Charging sockets and lights on the bed did not work. Without an open window it is very stuffy. During sleep I had to open the window several times because someone was closing it. I had not yet checked out of the room, and my things (clothes, documents) were placed on the windowsill without my permission. Very strange. The metal bed is all loose and very noisy. I woke up at night when my neighbor climbed up and down from the second tier.

Send me a meeting with my request for a bed on the first tier. The location of the hostel is very convenient. Close to the center and Lidl supermarket

We booked the 3-room appartement. It is in a separate building, not in the hostel. The appartment was spotless clean, modern and comfortable. We loved the design very much. Good kitchen with washing machine. Free breakfast (tea, coffee, bread, jam). The location is perfect, right in the centre of Galway, next to the pubs and shops. When we closed the windows, it was quiet in the rooms. Good café in the ground floor where we could buy our morning coffee and fresh croissants. Parking place is very close (payable). The reception ladies in the Hostel was very nice and helpful, they helped in everything we needed. Thank you!

Couldn't get hot water in the shower in the dorm. Two New Zealand (or possibly Aussie) guests were very inconsiderate towards others. Came in late to the dorm chatting to each other then went out again and came back at about 2.30am still talking to each other. One spent ages on his tablet which I could hear and the other snored incessantly very loudly. I got no sleep.

There wasn't a lot of room in the kitchen for storage or preparing meals. The place needed a deep clean and a refresh of decor. Room was smaller than I expected so there wasn't a lot of room for people's bags etc. There was a delivery of kegs to the pub across the road at 5.30am on Tues morning. Didn't bother me though as I'm an early bird.

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. En suite bathroom was clean and bigger than expected. Simple breakfast was included. Excellent wifi in all areas. My room was on the top floor so it was nice and quiet. There was a toilet and shower outside of the bedroom also that was available to use.

The shower drain was a bit slow the first night but it got fixed the next day.

Superb service and cleanliness. Nice complimentary breakfast. Loved the suggestions on the dining room wall!! Great location close to all the attractions.

Not a deal breaker, but no TV in common room and the WiFi signal was very poor in our room, although fine everywhere else.

They've expanded into the building next door, which had our large, private, ensuite double room. Exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated. Nice towels. Great shower. Very nice, new kitchen with all amenities. Small courtyard.
