Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Irelandnothing.
The room was very comfortable, clean, beautiful decor, and quiet. Had a really good sleep. The hotel is very central and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the pub downstairs. This was a special stay for me as when my parents owned the pub about 50 years ago, I had lived there for about 3 years when I was very young, so it was great to see how much love and attention has gone into the Thomas Moore pub and accommodation by the owners, very professional and well run business, would highly recommend.

BelgiumI was alone and it was fine but I can imagine that the room would have been little with 2. There was nowhere to sit down with a book or coffee except on the bed.
Shower and bed were excellent !!! Although it's above a pub, it was not noisy at all and close to the centre. Aldi just in front of the hotel for eventual food/drank. I appreciated the bottle of water and the fact I was able to make a coffee in the room.

United KingdomIt was a great experience from start to finish. The most friendly and helpful bar staff with bar manager David being particularly helpful taking on a role of unpaid tour guide. (thank you) The rooms are very modern and exceptionally clean. There are supplied tea /coffee making facilities and an ironing board, iron and TV. The bar is in the city centre so there is a bit of road noise ( just use ear plugs) and our room was a little on the small side but was absolutely fine. The accommodation has it own entrance as well as a bar entrance and a modern clean lift. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and the location is perfect.

PortugalThe only minor downside was some noise from the hallway, but that’s understandable given the occasion.
We had a great stay at this hotel over St. Patrick’s Day weekend. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes from major restaurants and attractions, yet tucked away on a quiet street. Despite being above a pub and staying during one of the busiest weekends of the year, we had no issues with noise. The room was on the smaller side, but the bed was very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great stay, and we’d recommend it for anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable option in Dublin!

United KingdomNothing it was great!!
Our stay at Thomas More Inn was amazing! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend stay. The location was also ideal—within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit, which made exploring Dublin so easy. A huge bonus was the bar downstairs, where the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to be there on a Sunday night and got to experience an authentic Irish folk music session—such a memorable highlight! Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dublin. Great location, great atmosphere, and fantastic hospitality!

United KingdomExtremely central, well appointed room and very clean - at a very competitive price given the location. Ideal for a short stay (I was visiting my daughter) if you don't need all the facilities of a hotel (but there is a lovely pub below the rooms). Plenty of coffee shops nearby for breakfast. I will return.

United KingdomLocation is perfect for exploring the centre of Dublin from Temple Bar to the Liberties. Accessible on foot and by public transport from the airport and the rest of the city. The room was beautifully presented, cosy and spotlessly clean. Do not be worried about noise from the roads / the pub the room was very quiet and peaceful.

Location is very convenient and central. I was worried that being above a pub would be an issue with noise and rowdiness but that was not the case.

What a fantastic stay ! From checking in to check out there’s nothing I could fault . The rooms were spotless and with a lovely big bed , coffee/ tea facilities - safe box - iron- hair dryer . You also have the most warm and friendly pub with a great selection of drinks. It’s the only place I would stay when in Dublin.
