The power shower was struggling to function, it was either ice cold, or burning hot, no matter the dial position and waiting time. That was the worst part of the whole stay :(

The kitchenette was really cool, we could make our own dinner, along with a nice cup of tea. The TV with Netflix was also wonderful for kicking off a relaxing night.

I just assumed the property had an oven but don’t make the same mistake I did in not reading all the facilities properly as it is not listed on there 😂 we bought some frozen food but we were grand with the microwave and hob in the end 😅🙈 one of the tiles was a bit loose in the bathroom but nothing bad to say at all really. Thanks for having us!

Myself and my partner stayed here for a weekend in October and when we stepped inside we were greeted by lovely fresh lilies in the kitchen. The whole chalet was stocked with everything you needed and was very spacious too, which just made it peaceful and quiet. I personally loved using the Breville coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable, the shower and bath were great and easy to use, along with the tv having a great Sony speaker. The windows seemed kinda tinted from the outside which was nice for privacy as well. We went out for a lovely walk up by the cliffs and were blessed with a beautiful sunny day with no rain and walked right up to Clifden Castle and back. The local town is filled with all you need as well from shops to restaurants to banks, and other local attractions are quite close by. Overall the property was easy to find, the hosts were very accommodating and hospitable and we really enjoyed our little adventure in Clifden and we felt like we had a well deserved break 😁

Really nice chalet. Really clean with everything you might need for a stay with 2 people. Perfectly furnished and nicely decorated. Connected TV, deliciously smelling soap. Available owners. The chalet is close to the house and the garden shared, but wasn’t a problem for us.

I’d have liked a conventional oven or microwave to reheat meals, as it was a long way back to the property in the evening along windy roads.

Stunning location with total peace and quiet, yet within a 10 minute drive of shops, restaurants etc. Charming, hospitable hosts, always available but never intrusive, Kornelija and Daniel include everything you could possibly want for a relaxed and comfortable stay, including breakfast provisions. Don't hesitate- you won't be disappointed.

The location is a little misleading, Vimy House is a long way outside Clifden.

The location is not so easy to reach also with GPS position (also due to poor connectivity in the zone); maybe more visible signage, or better indications, can be provided in the future to better indicate the exact location

Beautiful location. Very modern and comfortable furniture and decor. The entire space is bright, open, and welcoming. Well-stocked kitchen, including a selection of breakfast items including eggs, yogurt, bagels, fruit, milk, juice, tea, coffee. The rainfall shower and espresso machine were added bonuses. Hosts are very friendly, as is the dog. An Eire code was provided to help with navigation, plus there is a sign at the end of the driveway.

This self contained chalet was one of the best ( superb) for facilities, cleanliness and comfort. Everything you needed esp the coffee machine, heaven. Added bonus of fresh milk, fruit, cereals, orange juice and even eggs. Highly recommend after a long day out and about, you can soak in a warm bath on a blustery wild west day. Highly recommend and will br passing on their details to all friend and family. Thank you Vimy House host.

Couldn't find fault with anything. Even the family dog was warm and friendly and happy to go on walks with us!

Really nicely stylish kitted out accommodation. Thoughtful touches throughout. Clever design. Lovely garden area with seating. Location is beautiful on the Sky road. Lovely walks down by the coast. We only stayed one night but the hosts left everything required for a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend this property for anybody keen on touring this area of Ireland.
