Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandNo WiFi details in the bedroom. No kettle, cups, tea or coffee in the bedroom. Some of the white towels were dyed red. Very slippery shower tray. No bathroom mat. Bedside table light not working. Main bedroom light with red lampshade not giving enough light. Double door in the hallway banging on each other - waking us up every time someone was coming in or going.
Beds were comfortable. The temperature and water pressure in the shower were both good.

IrelandDid not get the family room I paid for instead I have no choice than taking two different rooms, this is not professional, I was given a main door key because there is no staff after 12am, I came back to the hotel just before 12am I couldn't open the main door because I was given a wrong main door key I was struggling to open the main door, luckily a last staff that was leaving sow me struggling helped me used a staff door to get in to my room. I imagine if I came after 12am

United KingdomWe didn't use the shower in our room but it looked like it might be in need of an update. Not required by us, but some people might like to have a kettle in the room. The bar was so good we didn't need anything else and Centra shop opposite open till 10 if you need anything.
Everything! Lydia checked us in. Large room with Beautiful view over the river. Comfortable beds and very clean . Toiletries provided and WiFi. Food was exceptional. We all had the best burgers and portion size is large! Desserts were extremely good value and tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced and the location is perfect near all amenities and we parked outside. Breakfast all locally sourced ingredients and asked our preference for time. Staff member at breakfast very nice also.

Was expensive for the room..there was 3 ladies sharing which was what we wanted but definitely not worth the money. The man then showed us to the room and that was it. (No time giving for breakfast. WiFi password nothing) as the the man that was behing the bar was more interested in his fone.
Beds were comfortable. Lady staff couldn't do enough for ya when having drinks or food.

IrelandBooked 2 rooms, checked in on Saturday at 5.30 pm for one night, one room not ready until 6pm. When we went to restaurant to wait till room was finished, we were told the chef "stepped out" and won't be back for an hour...so we went elsewhere. Shower not working in one room and if we didn't have second room booked, they wouldn't be able to help us in any way. As we climbed Croagh Patrick that day, you can imagine going without shower wouldn't be pleasant. Beds very uncomfortable, mattresses on twin beds well past their life span. No coffee making facilities (I know they don't advertise them but a kettle would be nice to have) Hairdryer apparently on request, only staff on duty told us they don't have any. Rooms clean, until we moved a bed and the dirt underneath was shocking....hallway had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke and stale beer. Won't be going back.
Room was clean
