We were celebrating our Mam's 100th birthday in the nearby Dunmore House Hotel. West Cork Escapes proved to be a great location close to Clonakilty Village, a beautiful house with plenty of room, very comfortable beds, modern and spacious house, and a beautiful view. The best accommodation in the area by a long stretch. Kathleen and Jim are exemplary hosts. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is coming here on holiday. Highest quality and the best value for money I have come across.

The only issue was that we should have stayed longer. If you decide to book this place you won't want to leave at all !

We were here for a wedding and after speaking with the other wedding guests, this place sounds like it was the best accommodation in the area by a long stretch. Having been in many Airbnbs and accommodations I couldn't speak highly enough of this house. I would even go as far to say this was the best accommodation I have stayed at! Kathleen and Jim are exemplary hosts - couldn't speak more highly of them. They even loaned me some cufflinks that I forgot to pack for the wedding! They fully stocked the fridge full of sausages, bacon, eggs, bread, milk, juice, coffee etc ! This gaff went over and beyond our expectations and WHEN I come back to west Cork I will most definitely be staying here / I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is coming here on holiday. Highest quality and the best value for money I have came across. Sincerest thanks to Kathleen and Jim for making our trip a spectacular success!

Brand new modern build, very spacious, every room had an ensuite, everything we needed was at the house to make our stay hassle-free, enjoyable and comfortable. The prices of hotels and B&Bs were ridiculous within a 20 km radius of where we needed to be, this was great value for money.

We loved everything!

The photos of the house do not do it justice! It is beautiful, fabulous simple decor, great location and the warmest of welcomes from Kathleen who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The beds were really comfortable, three bathrooms is sheer luxury and the entire house is simply stunning. In addition, Kathleen left us a lovely welcome pack including freshly laid eggs!

Beautiful house, warm bright and airy. Exceptionally clean and comfortable and tastefully designed and decorated. really lovely hosts. Fabulous setting with gorgeous views. Close to beaches in car or if you like a walk 25 mins to nearest. Authentic pub five mins away by foot with great food. we were there for New Year’s Eve and food was delicious

No complaints at all! Perfect for family get together in Innchidonney down the road. Walked to beach and enjoyed the beautiful sea view and quiet... A real escape!
