Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaWhile the place itself is really nice, the people staying here are wild. They screamed all night in the halls, and my roommates kept the lights on throughout the evening. One of them even opened all the curtains at 7 in the morning😭
The building has a really nice vibe, is clean, and offers many facilities. I was impressed to find a gym, and breakfast is included

United KingdomI arrived early and the staff member did not even try to accommodate me to go to my dorm early - which is a shame as I could have complained about it earlier. In the end, I had to arrive after an evening with my family and the dorm was awful. My bed was so high, I could hardly get up - and had to disturb the person below me. It was full of old men who groaned, yelled, sighed, snored, coughed and shuffled endlessly all through the night. I felt unsafe and sure I was going to get ill (the only time I got Covid was in a dorm in Israel!) Every time I fell asleep, I was woken by one of the men. It was completely inappropriate to put a woman of nearly 60 in this space. In the end, I went to the front desk in floods of tears. Martin was helpful and put me immediately into the lovely clean, quiet female dorm - which had lots of spare beds. What makes me upset and disappointed is that I could have been put here in the first place ...
After much upset with my first dorm (see below), I was put in a lovely female dorm = quiet, everyone respectful, ok bathroom attached. BREAKFAST!!!!!! It was really impressive: with veg, eggs, different cheeses, halva, choc spread, cappuccino, yoghurt!!!! It made such a difference to the start of the day - especially when restaurants are so expensive in Tel-Aviv. LEFT LUGGAGE.

IsraelEverything is a bit old - peeling paint, mismatched furniture and such, but it's really a minor issue. Also the shower was quite cold on our first night (on subsequent nights it was wonderful).
We had an economy room for two: a spacious room with impossibly high ceiling, a kitchenette (including a microwave and a big refrigerator), a safe, a TV, a city view (even with a bit of the sea). The rooftop garden was lovely. The breakfast was simple but adequate, and no problem with coffee machines on Shabbat and such. Reliable Wi-Fi. Great location in the center, very close to Allenby subway station and the Rothschild boulevard. Nice and helpful staff. Also, I've attended the Language Exchange event on Saturday night, right in the hotel, and it was a lot of fun!

IsraelThere is not even a small threshold in the shower. When using it, all the water is poured over the entire shower and toilet bowl. After a shower, you can't go to the bathroom without shoes until the water dries. But in general, if you wash once, there is not much water. The bed creaked a little
Location, friendly staff Excellent breakfasts, tuna, corn, eggs, bread, vegetables. Friendly atmosphere in the dining room

AustraliaThey have way too many people in a room, they put 12 women in a room. We also had triple bunk beds. It caused problems that I would be sleeping in the night and then someone foot is hanging over nearly in my face. The woman on the third bunk kept complaining too that every time I got up it woke her up, there wasn’t a lot I could do, as I was getting up very quietly, it’s just not a comfortable situation for anyone. They have a lot of space and facilities, I think they intentionally fill up one room and leave the next one empty, as it’s never fully booked right now. They really should just open another dorm so we can feel more comfortable and get along. Most of the women there are there longer term, and it creates a lot of tension having 3 women sharing a bunk, and 12 women sharing one bathroom. I don’t think putting women in a triple bunk was intended for a long term thing, more just for weekends occasionally if the place is fully booked. But it’s really not nice to put a woman stuck up there for a week or more. Another issue, the bathrooms are coed outside of the room. I am not comfortable with this, and u really wish they would insist to men not to walk around the hallways in justa towel.
It has everything you need and is in a good location. The breakfast is good value for money. I saved a lot of money on food with the breakfast.

United StatesThe floor in the room could have used a bit more cleaning and the refrigerator was kind of worn out. I really did not need it but it did freeze anything I put in there!
The best thing the Abraham has going for it is it's welcoming vibe. It was the perfect place for what I needed to do that week. The beds were perfect, sheets were clean / crisp and the walls were thick enough that noise was not a probelm. I was impressed with how quickly everyone arrived to the shelters in the middle of the night caring for each other along the way. I was also impressed that even though there was a free music festival the first Friday night I was there, when I got home by 9:30pm, the crowds were gone and it was quiet. I loved the art on the wall and the overall welcoming atmosphere and the fact that people came of all ages and walks of life. Being able to do work in the breakast room or meet with other people over a cup of coffee was very nice. The trip from the airport was also very easy by way of the trains.

SlovakiaI am a carnivore so I did miss some meat at the breakfast. Also, it would be nice to have some juice to drink on breakfast. I'm not spoiled, so for 4 days it's OK. But you did asked 🙂, so I'm answering😄 Unfortunately the fridges for guests and the area for cooking where not clean enough, could be much cleaner. The beer was really expensive
The staff was very helpful. I liked to cares Sara the cat. It was nice to have a place just to sit and do my things in the breakfast area also later after the breakfast. I had the nice time on the roof with a beer.

AustraliaStairs in the middle of floors and elsewhere where they didn't seem necessary. Room not serviced in the 5 days we were there. A few things in need of repair eg water fountain on our floor. Quite expensive for what was on offer.
Helpful desk staff. Quite good breakfast though it was only served from 7:30, so we had to miss it when we had early starts. Good location for transport - light rail station just across the road. Agreed to store our luggage for a few days at no charge.

AustraliaEven with the lifts, there were still stairs I had to go up and down with my luggage which was difficult. The lounges in the common room were filthy. I did not like that there was music playing in the common area. Others said the same. We were trying to talk, do emails, play piano, have quiet time, read, the music was not helpful for any of it!
The rooms were a decent size. I liked the rooftop. It was good that breakfast was included.

IsraelWhat I didn't like - is not very clean in the bathroom and somewhere else in the corridors. But, it is Israeli cleanness :)
Very pleasant experience! Friendly staff, nice rooms, good beds. I liked the beds' construction - part is closed that the light will not disturb you and you can use your phone without disturbing others with the light of the screen. There are lockers in the room and all facilities you need. Breakfast is good. There's a nice rooftop with a bar you can sit and enjoy.

NetherlandsUnfortunately have to give a low rating because of one mean guy working in house keeping. He was impolite and grumpy and got very annoyed at us because we hang the cleaning card on our door, as nobody had visited our room for the last 2 days. He doesnt seem to want to work .. we are not gonna beg for a bit of cleaning and clean towels. Our room had only been 'cleaned' (clean towels + emptying garbage bins) once during our 9 nights stay. He was also very rude to a girl at breakfast for no reason at all. Besides that most of the other staff is very friendly. The location is great and the breakfast is ok, just the bread af breakfast is extremely dry.
Location is great! Most staff is friendly.
