Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomwe had a squeaky set of bunkbeds in the dorms nd so everytime someone move, which was a lot then it was a loud squeaky noise, also some people do not respect others in this hostel for sleeping and they turn on the light or shine light in the face of others sleeping or have a shower in the shower which is annoyingly in the room, thus disturbing others. This seems normal for hostel, the only complaint is the toilet and shower in the dorm. But all the other spaces are good.
With the Abraham you get a great environment to meet people, they have good communal spaces with an adequate to good breakfast depending how much you like fresh coffee.. The people that go here are cool younger types of people like backpackers and its a very social place with good facilities for communal showers and laundry.

Germany- Events were quite pricey - the whole bathroom (incl. toilet and sink area) was totally flooded everytime somebody took a shower, because the shower area was at the same height as the rest of the room.
- The countless Social events and activities (especially shabat dinner) - good breakfast

United Arab Emirates1. Customer-service needs to be improved - be friendly and more accommodating. One evening, there was a queue in the reception for check-in and only one staff doing the job while 2 staff are busy chatting (come on and in front of guests who are obviously tired and want to be checked-in to relax, we don’t know how long their flight was); 2. Majority of the staff are not friendly (Smile is free cost and it brightens up someones mood); 3. We keep on sneezing everytime we enters the room - the curtain needs to be checked, it looks like dust settled for awhile there; 4. The “Art Exhibit” on the 3rd floor is a noble cause but why can’t it be held in area away from guests rooms? Your guests have no more privacy - mind that the rooms are not sound proof. You get out of your room and you see people looking on the exhibits posted along the hallway.
Great location - Very close to Rothschild boulevard (lots of restaurants, bars and cafes) but quite a distance to the beach (If you are looking for it).

NorwayThe wi-fi did not work, and the rooftop wasn't available during my stay. The hostel itself is okay, but would not go back to Tel Aviv in general.
Great hostel with good location in Tel Aviv. Walking-distance to bar, shopping and eating-opportunities. A good and simple breakfast, considered the price. Nice and chatty staff who will help you with everything you need. The hostel also arrange a lot of events, and gives you lots of information about different stuff to do in Tel Aviv - without you having to ask.

BrazilWhen i Arrived in the room, all the beds were occupied, then I had to ask for changing the room. The guy in the reception found another one for me, and for apologizing the situation gave me one free beer. It was not a problem, but very kind for them for this, I really appreciated that.
Breakfast included - good, structure of the hostel (big lobby - tv room - luggage keeper), staff very helpful.

ItalyWe got a double room. The room was essential and with a few noice problems. Fan in the bathroom that never goes off and windows facing a very busy road with car noises all night long.

AustraliaThe exit door near the room could only slam closed. There was also an irregular thud under my room during the night. Overall along with the noise as I'm 6ft and was given twin beds I didn't sleep well.
