Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesI would like to visit again.
The hostel is in the city centre. Very accessible. There are shops and restaurants close to the hostel. Bars and clubs are nearby. The breakfast is very good. Lounge area floor is huge. There is a rooftop bar and lounge area. Check in area is very welcoming. It was a great stay.

United Arab EmiratesThe properly is closer to perfect but in my 3 nights in there I just noticed that SARAH bowls for her food and water is always dry and empty. hoping this will be not be taken for granted.
Everything is spacious, room, bar, and pantry. But the most thing I like is when I met SARAH, their 10 year old cat, always sleeping in a sofa at reception. its so welcoming, sweet girl.

Breakfast was great. The terrace is a plus.

United KingdomI know it's hard, but on the pub crawl, going to some smaller places and even to Florentine would be nice, smaller bars with more atmosphere.
I especially liked the vibe there, from the moment you come in the reception staff are welcoming, and it helpded it was also Purim so there was a festive atmosphere, too. The shabbat dinner was great, too, and a blessing was read out at our table by staff, and new friends were made at the table. Plenty of solo travellers were there, like me, and I think they know what hostelling is about, so thank you for proving the right place and feel to get people connecting. The facilities were very good, and the place kept clean and tidy. My room was pretty quiet and I could get to sleep easily. There was plenty of room inside, too (private double room). The rooftop bar is a nice touch, and I really enjoyed going there early in the morning as the city (on shabbat) was quiet, and just taking it all in.

GermanyThe Avraham makes it easy to meet all the lovely people staying there. There are many common areas to chat, get a beer, have breakfast together etc.. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is possible to book tours with the Avraham or sign up for small events, such as Yoga, painting etc.

RussiaWiFi logs out every time you lock your screen. So each time you need to reconnect to it basically, but that's kind of a minor problem.
It's my second time in Abraham's Tel-Aviv, last time was 5 years ago. I absolutely adore the chain, one of my favorite in the world! It's a spacious, well-managed place with lots of fun things to do! THE BEST CHOICE both for single travelers and for companies of friends. And the location is JUST great.

SloveniaNothing really. As all hostels this one is not for fancy people, some parts are also a bit worn out. If you want fancy something more comfy, go and pay for a posh hotel room. But if you know what to expect (and you love it) it's simply great.
Very open minded hostel, packed with travellers from all over the world. Very friendly staff; they try to organize some activities most of the days, like Shabbat dinner, painting class, pub crawls and even full day tours around Israel. I slept in a 4-bed room which had own bathroom -- and made new friends. Each bed has own huge locker (under the bed) and 220V plug. In the kitchen there is free coffee, water and tea. You can cook for yourself if you want to. There is a pub in the hostel where you can hand out and make new friends. Location wise it's near party clubs and several bus stations so getting around is no problem at all.
