Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineSome showers had leaking shower handlers or disattached hooks. The door to the 6-person room was not closing from outside.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean and has everything in the kitchen. There is a restaurant at the hostel.

EcuadorIt’s not that I didn’t like it but more of a recommendation. Dorms could have individual lights for each bed, as well as a small night stand. A good addition could also be curtains for extra privacy.
Location is perfect, very central and easy to move from

United Arab EmiratesThe shower area Is clean at all times including the toilet but the shower area could be improved like a place to hang your stuff, the shower hooks are broken and needs replacement, it would also be best if there will be doors to lock it while you are taking a shower. Despite the minor improvements mentioned above, it was really an amazing stay and hoping that a lot of tourist visit these areas of Israel and not just Jerusalem or Tel Aviv alone.
The staff and the owner of the hostel are very friendly and helpful. They will assist you with everything that you will be needing. The location is very close to most of the local attraction in Haifa and its neighboring places and I could say that its a better place for you if you plan to do a day tour to acre, nazareth and other nearby places. It will take you almost an hour or less from this area of haifa to get to the places I mentioned above. The bus station is literally just outside the place and its a good walking distance to get to the railway station. My stay includes breakfast and what they offer is pretty nice, local and freshly prepared breakfast menu by the in house chef. Tamer, the owner of the restaurant and hostel even promised to give me one night free stay since I checked out a day before my original checkout date.

EstoniaI liked everything. I prefer a softer mattress, but that is just my personal preference, and that is not changing the 10/10 rating.
Perfect location, a very friendly and helpful reception, a lot of fun around, Haifa gardens in a walkable distance just in 1 minute. I booked that hostel accidentally, and that is a lottery jackpot.

This hostel can make you feel like home while traveling. Very well organised and super clean all the time- stuff does a great job. You'll find everything you need. Good breakfast. And for me it was even better than what i already expected from seeing the pictures.

IsraelIt's a hostel, so the accommodations are nothing fancy. But they were quite adequate, and the staff and guests were fabulous. The kitchen wasn't so user friendly, the water machine wasn't functioning, and the oven obviously hadn't been used in quite a while. But this meant we ate at the restaurant and had a lovely breakfast in the morning, which was better. :D
The staff was wonderful. We decided to stay an extra night, and they were very accommodating. We will definitely return.

IsraelThe only issue I can think of is not having a closing door to the bathroom/toilet area. Also, in that area there could be more hooks/shelves.
The place was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good too.

United StatesI think they could work on the cleaning a little more, meaning pesticides. You see some ugly 'insects' in the toilet area.
Good location, You can catch bus, train in walking distance. The building is ok. It is located on a nice street, full of restaurants and cafés. Just prepare the pocket, you are in Israel. The volunteer staff is the best people on earth.

United StatesOne of the cleanest hostels I have ever stayed in— the volunteers work super hard and make it as clean and comfortable as my own home. Beautiful, spacious kitchen and very good bathrooms. I would happily stay there for much longer. There is a bus stop literally right outside the door, and plenty of restaurants and stores pretty close by.

RomaniaNot bad things, but there were so many volunteers working at this hostel that I felt like I was the only tourist there! Everyone was sleeping in the room with me 😁 I was in a bunk bed, but when I got up, the ceiling was 5 cm from me! You could easily hit your head or your back! The internet did not work in the room, and the air conditioning could not be used during the day! You were lying warm in your own sweat
The staff was very nice and polite, and it's a pleasure to talk to them! Perfect location close to Bahai (but know that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and in the rest of the week they are only open up to the first level). Very good recommendations for places to visit!

GermanyThe sink was very often blocked and the bathroom equipment was a bit outdated. Also it would be nice, if we could have regulated the air conditioning ourselves. Some of us were freezing at night and the remote control was only used by the staff.
The staff and the volunteers were super nice! I really enjoyed every talk with them. We had dinner together, they always invited me to have an Arabic coffee with them and they gave me a lot of hints for exploring Haifa. I really liked the big community areas outside and the huge kitchen. It felt like having a house together with family or friends.

MoroccoA hostel that is not worth the price we pay for every night. The Abraham Hostel in Tel Aviv had everything available in it, including bath towels and shampoo, And Good Food and at a lower price. Also, in the room in which I stayed, every time I wanted to turn off the light of the room, I needed to get up and walk out of the room. AND also The Breakfast Was Not Good
The Staff Was COOL
