The bed linen was not changed for 7 days. When I asked a cleaner to change it, she changed only the sheets and not the pillow covers. There was sand in the corner of the wardrobe which also was never cleaned. Breakfast is virtually the same set of small saucers with the same food and a salad everyday, no choice here. All one can choose - a drink and the way they cook eggs. Still, it gets boring after four-five days.

The bed was comfortable, room was quiet. Hotel location is not bad, but there are more hotels around with a better location and similar price. On some days there is a table with complimentary sweets next to reception.

Rooms supposedly vary, ours was a bit small but I’m American and everything is big in the states so maybe this size is standard here. Room should be inspected more cause several things didn’t work like lights and also some things were broken. Also I didn’t like the a/c system at all, the vent was directly on our body and also didn’t like that it was operated by motion, so if you are a rock when you sleep it would turn off, the system should be updated for sure. Roof terrace and gym are very simple :/

Location is pretty prime, only a few blocks from the beach. Hotel lobby is nice, I liked the staff and they were helpful also liked that you can get coffee and bottled water whenever, also the breakfast supposedly was amazing but I never woke up for it lol. Nice perk was they had free food, drinks and sweets some afternoons which was nice.

Lots of building going on in the area due to the tram lines being built. We were told at the airport VAT office that the hotel shouldn't of charged us 17% due to my partner not being a resident and we couldn't claim it back.

- Not the cheapest accommodation - Air conditioning was loosing water which caused noises during the night (woke up two out of two nights and needed to clean up the wet floor) - Handling of the issue and comms around that could have been better

The "deposit" for the possible damage (which was returned few days after checkout), and an unexpected "checkout fee" (which I didn't pay eventually, because it was requested during the online checkout which I skipped). Bottom line: I didn't overpay for my stay, but these deposits and fees were unexpected and confusing.

Our aircon in the room was faulty and only worked sometimes, it was extremely hot in our room at some points which I didnt like. Also the sauna was not always working and when I did ask them to turn it on it seemed like a bit of a problem for the staff. The room is also quite small in comparison to the photos

The location is excellent, the room was neat and had everything that one would require for a short stay in Tel Aviv. The coffee station was a nice touch and the beach towels were definitely a bonus. Overall the staff were friendly and I enjoyed the stay. I would stay again.

Not a big deal but since i have Genius 2 level according to Booking.com you have free breakfast (as i couldn't book extra breakfast) .. seems this is not applicable in Tel Aviv ... It's a challenge to find parking but we managed that too

The staff only greets you upon arrival and when you leave. They don’t even look up when you enter. We were staying for 8 nights but if you don’t tell them to change the beds they won’t do it. it appears they have beach towels but they don’t tell you as well. They lack a certain kind of communication.

Overall price-performance in Tel Aviv is not so great. Therefore it's not something special to BY14 hotel.

The staff were friendly and they had free snacks/drinks in reception all the time. They also provide some booklets/options about tours in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Room and bathroom too small for comfort and movement. No outside area and insufficient airflow to dry towels or bathsing suits. Gym super tiny. Clean but cleaners never seemed to vacuum/ get sand off the floor

Promised sea view is not really a sea view as blocked by the buildings in front of you
