Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

It's basically a large old apartment you share with others. Nice high ceilings and good location. Some parking nearby.

SwitzerlandWe came by public transport so I arrived with two tired toddlers and a bunch of heavy bags in an enormous baby buggy. It was extremely difficult to get everything up the long flight up stairs that leads to the hostel.
The nest is a nicely decorated and cozy little hostel very close to the train station. We also enjoyed walking around the cool downtown area.

GreeceThere are small things that can be that would make the place much better, such as having curtains in the beds and adding mosquito net. I felt very uncomfortable sleeping in a mixed dorm without covering in the night. Also, since it was warm and the windows were open, many mosquitos and other flies made the night hard.
The location is great, few meters from the train station, very central and quite close to supermarkets and pubs.

GermanyThe traffic can be very loud. No shelf or lamp next to the bed of you sleep on the upper bed. The bathrooms flood regularly after showering. No events in the hostel, just accommodation. No real social area except the kitchen and the reception. I just went there to sleep and go for trips. If you look for a more social hostel, this isn't the right hostel in my opinion.
The hostel owner Uri is very helpful and flexible with Check-In/Check-Out. You have a kitchen if you want to cook or store stuff and different separate bathrooms. The hostel is next to the train station, perfect for day trips to Akko or other locations nearby.

It’s close to the port, train station and several bus stops. There were several lovely little restaurants just a block away. Uri was helpful. love that it is an old building - lots of character.

SloveniaThe kitchen was messy, it was not cleaned once within 3 days spent in the hostel. I know it's not a hostel concern, but even though the food was marked by owner's name, the food kept missing.
The central location, we had no problems with the arrival, the entrance information was provided before arrival. Helpful staff.

RomaniaWe stayed in february and it was a bit chilly. The AC didn't manage to bring room temperature to a comfortable 22deg C. On a friday night it was noisy due to night traffic(engine rev, loud music in cars).

TaiwanThe room is basic and the light switch is outside the room. The reception is not open most of the day, so you do need to schedule ahead for your arrival detail.
It is basic hostel/guesthouse. I stay in the private room with a balcony facing the harbor and train station. The room is spacious and overall clean, The bathroom are shared. Generally it is a decent budget choice. The staff is very friendly.

ItalyThe beds weren't too comfortable due to thin mattresses and pretty unstable bedframes. The other problem is that there were no lockers nor shelves near your bed so by sleeping on the top bed I had no place were to place my glasses or my phone (there were plugs near each bed though!)
Great price and location since it's right next to the train station and other bus stops. Very clean space, big kitchen, multiple bathrooms plus Uri is a really cool guy
