Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe had to leave.
We had an excellent stay at the Lagoona. The room was enormous and the bed very comfortable. The food was amazing and the restaurant staff extremely hard working. Outside, it's lovely by the pool and overlooking the Marina. The hotel is kept spotless. Reception were also very good. All in all, it's a great hotel.

Israelpart of the food was a bit overcoked or had too much spice to it.
everything was amazing! the hotel is placed in a very central location in the city, close to all malls and beaches and a while lot of other attractions. our balcoy had an amazing view of the marina and we really enjoyed sitting there watching the view. the stuff was super friendly and everything was really clean. the food was really good especially at breakfast. there was a really good free and unlimited cocktail bar (and other soft drinks) which is open from 11:00-23:00. We've really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back (:

CanadaOur room was not well cleaned. The balcony was full of cigarette butts and I asked them to clean it a few times and no one came. The bathrooms could use better cleaning as could most of the rooms. I don’t rate it well for cleanliness.
Perfect size. Not too big. Food was fantastic and had tons of options for us. Location was excellent right by food and attractions and great shopping Lots of activities for kids

United StatesThey were busy so shady spots around the pool were at a premium.
We chose the Lagoona for a few days after arriving in Israel and heading to Jordan. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a marina view room that was good sized and well equipped. The restaurant provided very good, fresh meals with a wide and changing variety available. They provided some nice entertainment and some alcohol is also included. We did go out for a nice walk one evening, but other than that there was no reason to leave the resort.

IsraelSome staff members should be trained more for work in the hospitality business. The bar staff should not pick the nose in front of the customer at the bar.

IsraelIt would be great if there were tissues in the room. It would also be nice if in addition to soy milk, there would be oat or almond milk, or lactose free milk.
I want to point out that we stayed at this location last year, and it was so nice, we returned. The staff go out of their way to make sure that everything is satisfactory and taken care of immediately. A couple of examples... 1. When we arrived, we noticed that the handle of the balcony door was loose. I went down and mentioned it to the front desk staff. Within one hour, the maintenance guy replaced the handle. 2. One evening at dinner, the sous chef came to ask us (among others) how the food was. I told him that everything was good, but the beef was dry . He looked at the slice on my plate, went to the carving station, and had the rest of that roast removed, and replaced with a new one that was not dry at all. Other great things... The food was delicious. Large selections at every meal. There is an open bar serving coffee, soft drinks, beer, and other alcoholic drinks. Pleasant entertainment every evening, singers, acrobats, dancing. The pool area is nice and well maintained. While we did not go into the water, there are plenty of lounge chairs, and a pleasant sitting area with chairs and tables. The room attendants were quick and efficient. Everyone at the hotel is always smiling, saying hello, offering to help. There are always people sweeping, mopping, polishing metal, cleaning mirrors and glass, cleaning the elevators, and so on.

IsraelThe cleanliness of the rooms needs improvement. Those who come with a car have a high chance of not having parking at the hotel and will have to spend money on paid parking near the hotel.

ArgentinaThe hotel seems not prepared for foreign travelers non-hebrew speakers. We had to wait 40minites to do check in since there was no personnel that spoke English in the front desk. Information and signs are all in Hebrew, I had to use the translator in the restaurant to know what was the food about. As an additional recommendation, I'd suggest that they provide jars or non plastic glasses in the restaurant in order to be more eco friendly. Parking spaces are very limited so consider you will have to park somewhere else outside the hotel. There are some free parking spaces around.
Hotel amenities are just great. Rooms are very comfortable. If traveling with babies, they provide baby crib and food utensils. Also baby chairs are available at the dining room. The food is amazing, if you are not from Israel you can get a great sense of their culture. For coffee lovers, coffee from the barista is excellent. The kids staff is very friendly. We met a Spanish speaking girl, Bar, who really made a difference for.my daughter. She is amazing!
