Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

break fast was decent, not very fancy. Issue was that the "fancy" shower flooded the entire bathroom after only being on for less than one min.

Obviously it’s a bit old, what can give the impression of not clean, doors and windows are old so could get noisy from outside or neighbors rooms.
Staff was kind and helpful, location is great if you use the train, bus main terminal, not too pricey.

Nice hotel, and location is amazing. Easy to get to light rail and the trains. Buses close by. Close to Romema and Givat Shaul.

BREKAFAST. Despite asking a few times, it took 20 minutes for someone to bring us a sachet of decaffienated coffee. Surely this should be with the tea packets on offer. Could not see any 1% milk

Very very strong cleaning detergent scent in the room, which caused headaches and took days to dissipate with the window continuously open. Unfriendly staff that seemed very bothered when I asked for basic assistance, such as check-in and parking directions. Parking exits into a mall only and could not be accessed directly from the hotel unless you walk on a steep road (note for others: wheelchair unaccessible) in traffic. Heating is strong and could only be turned on or off, not responsive to thermostat. Housekeeping woke us up at 8am on both days to ask if we needed cleaning despite the "do not disturb" sign. Room is not sound proof and you will hear any and all conversations outside.
Excellent location within 15 minute walking distance to Mahaneh Yehudah Market and 40 minutes to the Old City. Free secured parking available under the hotel (very cool for Jerusalem) . Great window sound insulation from the very loud traffic and honking outside.

Great location. courteous staff. great breakfast. free parking. easy access to center 1 mall. easy access to central bus station and light rail to city center. Security desk very helpful with luggage and storage. All in all a very good accommodation. Was there for a week.

Location was excellent 600m away from Central Station, it was really convenient for me as I was using the light rail daily. Room was really great and exceeded my expectations, although the hotel is on a really busy intersection with loads of traffic and ambulance sirens it did not bother me too much as the sound was only really heard when windows were open. Breakfast is really different from what you would get in Europe or most countries but authentic and kosher so also forms part of the Israel experience, although I missed fried sausages and meats I really enjoyed something different (and they make a awesome pizza in the morning)

This was initially very good value in my opinion, but I needed to stay an extra 2 hours after checkout. They agreed but added 35% to my bill. I thought that was excessive.

Room service
Try nice hotel in a great location not far from the central bus and train station Room was clean, nice shower and we even had a bottle of wine left for us plus a small box of chocolates. Very nice touch and will definitely go back.

The lights in the lobby go off at 11ish pm and if you come back to the hotel after that you need to walk through a dark empty lobby to the lifts.
Nice people and service. No balcony on ay rooms.
