Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyIt was a mess to find a parking place. The accommodation was not very clean. The room was ok, but the kitchen and outside it should be cleaned more.
Very helpful and nice host, when we arrived he gave is a lot of information and we made together a little walk and he showed us the city. The location and the view were great.

GermanyIt is definitely not chique or fancy or super clean in any way. If you're not expecting this, it is a really nice place to stay
The owner is friendly, honest and helpful. Location is perfect, directly above the sea. Owner lives in the same apartment, we drank coffee on the terrace together, so staying there felt more like couch surfing than. And I could help myself from his fridge :-)

SlovakiaThe problem was to find him, but we did not look up. The best is to stay at the terminal bus stop No.4 and look at houses and you will see a part of the billboard Nzar hosting. The worst thing was the bathroom. I preferred to take a shower at the beach. The host is planning some renovations so in the future the apartment, terrace and kitchen could look better. Do not expect too much cooking because you might not like the old bowls, frying pans, etc.
The best was his terrace and also personal approach of Nzar - the host. He is a very friendly host. He offered us all what he had in the fridge. You can use his tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, baguettes or pittas, and other things from the fridge /mainly eggs/. Location is very good. Only 5min walk to the market in the Old city.

United StatesCleanliness isn’t great. Our room itself was passably clean, but our bathroom was dirty, and the kitchen and other common areas are seriously filthy. The whole place needs a good deep clean. I would say that you get what you pay for here, but even though this place is on the cheaper end for Akko, it’s still seriously expensive! I would expect better.
The location is amazing. Nzar is a really nice guy and helped us get our bearings in Akko.

CanadaIf you are expecting luxury this isn’t the place for you, but we enjoyed it as an authentic, comfortable and affordable option.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While the building is old, the beds were comfortable and we were able to make our own meals. Nzar helped us with our luggage and parking when we arrived and later gave us a tour of the neighborhood. We had a very pleasant stay.

Czech RepublicThe cleaning could be done more.
The house is located in the port and has an accessible terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and the port. The host is very helpful, the accommodation has a kitchen with the possibility to cook, and the host also offered us food such as pastries and eggs. The room is in a historic house, so it is possible to absorb the local atmosphere.

IndiaThe property is at the top of an old building and it is quite a climb to access it. I counted almost 60 steps up. The host was very kind. He came down from the apartment to help us carry the bags from the car park and offered to carry the heavier ones as well. We declined as we were there for just one night. The property is a bit run down. The toilet and shower facility in our room was a bit cramped. In my opinion, this property would not suit people with mobility issues. However, such people will miss a great stay offered by a very hospitable and friendly host.
The location is great. There is a beautiful view of the crusader walls fortifications, the old light house and the Mediterranean from the balcony. The host Nzar is a very friendly and courteous person who goes out of his way to help guests. We enjoyed our chats with him. The kitchen is well stocked, albeit in a haphazard way. The host is very generous in offering free use of whatever he has in the kitchen. The entrance to the Templars tunnel is a minute away from the property. All other attractions of the old city of Accor are within 10 -15 minute walk from the property. We loved walking through the ancient alley ways and the enchanting Arab markets near the property. It is a treat to walk around this area. There are a number of restaurants nearby. There is a safe public car park in front of the property.

Germanycleanliness of staircase and apartment could be improved. The kitchen for common use needs a bit more cleaning attention also as often in hostels. Our room was on the small side for us 4. The fotos in booking.com were not fully reflective of these limitations. If you accept these limitations you can have a very nice stay with a great location, terrace, and a friendly host.
laege terrace with grear sea view, very friendly helpful owner Nzar, who grew up in this house. he gave good advice, helped with finding parking in front of the house. breakfast basics provided (coffee, bread, kitchen use)
