Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It's not a completely separate entrance., the room itself has its own door, the main entrance is shared with another studio. The balcony is also shared with the other studio and there is no smoking on the property at all.
The room and the host are great. It was just what I needed for my weekend stay in Tel Aviv. It's very centrally located and near a ton of places to go eat, drink or party.

Everything was great.
The location is very conveniently situated in the centre of Tel Aviv. Check-in and check-out were very friendly and easy. Many things in walking distance, you can easily take an e-scooter to get around quicker. Supermarkets are very close.

Due to construction work unfortunately a little bite noisy during day time.
In the centre of Tel Aviv, close to public transport, supermarkets, cafes, etc., friendly owner always available, beautiful atmosphere.

Great host and amazing location. Some of the biggest tour agencies pick you up from Rothschild, so you'll have no problems getting to the meeting point, and you can pretty much walk to everywhere "touristy", too. And if you're a Mediterranean like me, you'll love the balcony.

Nothing! I like the feel of being in a different country, not another faceless modern hotel room that could be anywhere.
I chose self-catering. Access to kettle and microwave in room was all that i needed. Flights from LHR to TLV tend to arrive very, very early. Joseph kindly allowed me into the room at 07.30, even though standard check-in is 14.00. That allowed me to unpack, shower and then take a much-needed nap. Joseph is conscientious and helpful, and I enjoyed talking to him about his wonderful collection of clocks (don't worry! -- they don't go off all the time, and never disturbed me). One suggestion for Joseph: I understand that he cannot always offer early check-in, as the room may be occupied, time is needed to clean and change between bookings, etc; but perhaps he could offer to check in luggage, so that least you could then keep yourself awake by walking around the wonderful White City area (great architecture), visit nearby markets, or even walk 15 mins to the beach -- without your luggage! :)

Since I came for a research about the White city, I enjoyed the neigbourhood a lot. Sitting on the balconny and writting until late was fun. And Joseph was really helpful and quick with everything I wanted to know. Ask for a Machinetta and you will get a fantastic working electric one. At Pole Position bike rental I rented a bike and that’s it.

Very central location, clean and cozy. The bed was confortable , the bathroom rather small but overall the apartment is full of everything you need if you don't want to cook.

There was nothing negative.
Location- a quiet street yet only minutes away from busy landmarks such as Habimah Square and Rothschild Street. Charmingly retro decor. Joseph is a helpful, kind and really engaging host.

would be nice to have an espresso machine and some shelfing in the bathroom since there is no were to put the toiletries .
Location and balcony were good , owners were very nice , and furnishing was nice, room is not very big but has a bathroom and kitchenet.

i liked everything except for the bed. it is stiff, but should be fine if you are staying for a short period of time.
Fantastic owner and perfect location to stay. Room was large and the balcony was nice.
