Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelThe place was well-maintained, comfortable and situated in close proximity to the shoreline and market. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend it.

United StatesIf you’re looking for amenities on-site, options are limited to a bodega and hairdresser. The spa seems to be out of commission.
Perfect location overlooking the Bat Yam promenade.

TurkeyThis building is a bit old but this apartment seemed to be recently refurbished and new. Found it clean and well equipped. Bathroom amenities like a hotel, some coffee in the kitchen closet, a well sized refrigerator with deep freeze, two new Google TV's etc.

United StatesTruly beautiful one bedroom apartment with a wonderful view of the ocean! The apartment was well equipped without all new appliances. From the balcony we could view the beach and feel the awesome breeze. The location was great too, it was a 3 minute walk (though my son will argue it was only a minute:) to the beach and many restaurants and bars on the main road and transportation. The apartment located in a half running hotel so it’s not on its best but it doesn’t matter because everything else was perfect! The owner Hannan, was always available to whatever we needed, as well the lady in the front desk was so nice and will get us a taxi whenever we needed one! So all in all it was a great find and we loved it so much that we booked it again right before our check out! It will most definitely be our Togo to place!

United StatesTldr: avoid this place at all costs!! Scam artist Let's set the scene: I just got off from a 15 hr travel day and it's Friday afternoon in israel. Keep in mind starting early Friday evening in israel all public transportation closes and many other accommodations (like hotels, supermarkets, taxis, etc.) close. Anything that does stay open becomes much more expensive and is harder to find. I would also like to note that I keep shabbat meaning that starting after sunset i don't use my phone and I do not travel. Okay so first of all the building is a bit confusing to reach but I had my israeli friend with me and together we were able to find it. She was very kind and said she will wait until I call her saying I am in the apartment. The receptionists there were very nice and pointed me in the right direction. So far not too hard. The actual place is very old and creepy in the hallways, but again not my main concern. My main concern is when i got to the door. So the owner sent a message on booking.com stating that while the door is closed, it is not locked. Between my own knowledge of the hebrew language and my hebrew-speaking friend translating it i know for a fact that is what it said. Closed, but not locked. Well guess what is was? Both closed, and locked!! I tried everything, I quadruple checked that I was at the right door, clicked every button within a 10 foot radius of the door, pushed my whole body weight against the door, everything!! Okay fine, maybe it is a fluke. I tried to call him initially just with the regular phone app, but the service there is awful too. I connected to the wifi, because at least he already gave me the password, and tried to call him on WhatsApp. No answer. Tried again. No answer. I went back downstairs to see if the receptionist could help me. She explained that the hotel can't do much because he owns the suite so I have to speak with him.

AustraliaThe 'hotel' the apartment is located in is quite dirty. The parking garage smelled awful and was flooded, the plaza it is attached to is filthy, and the carpet floors throughout the hallways are gross. The couch in the room was stained and dirty. There were not enough bath towels for the three people booked (2 towels provided). This was remedied with a message to the host. There weren't any instructions on where the washing machine was located. It ended up being in the hotel hallway in a gross closet. No information on connecting to wifi. It also didn't have the water turned on or the dryer filter cleaned in months. The address listed on booking.com is not the address of the hotel. A little confusing. A couple of elevators were not working while we were there. It would be helpful to have a welcome booklet with key information.
The apartment itself is a nice relief after walking around the public areas of the 'hotel'. There was no soap in the kitchen or bathroom, but this was remedied. The beds were comfortable. The balcony has a nice view of the city/ocean and is spacious enough. It was mostly clean and welcoming inside the room.
