United KingdomThe entrance to hotel was off road, meaning you had to walk through underground car park to get out. Swimming pool was also in separate building that meant the same walk. Bathroom could have done with some TLC - dirty bath & shower curtain. We had to clean it before using. Also a stained cushion on the bed.
Staff were extremely helpful, particularly on the reception desk. Room was reasonable size with good storage. The lift system was an amazing feature! Views from rooftop swimming pool.

NetherlandsHotel is a little bit outdated. Old fashioned interior I find very charming, but management shout not forget to well maintain it! Coming very strong mold smell from airco. Actually all room smelled like schimmel. To sleep in such a smell really unhealthy. Bathroom was really outdated. After one night we went out - didn’t book for longer time

DenmarkThere was no dislike, but here are some points that can be improved. Confusion in payments. We had breakfast and was told that booking.com guests have a special price. After we ate, restaurant staff gave us the bill for full price. But in their full defence , they couldn’t have known that we were eligible for discount. The easier way to do this is to bill every add-on service digitally and then tallying it at checkout. Or to have a system where correct prices are shown and is visible to all staff. I find no mistake in restaurant staff, in fact they were the best set of staff I have experienced in hotels in India. Reservation: I had asked many questions through booking.com, there are many that are still unanswered. I had asked about upgrade when it was available, no replies. I listed and asked few questions before arrival including if we could check-in at irregular hours like 4am, there was a single line reply with information on regular check in time. I had booked two rooms on two reservations , they informed me one room has been according to reservation. I tried clarifying about other room and updates for that reservation- no answer. I just had to believe and go there. But all went well!! Both rooms were infact confirmed as shown on booking.com ❤️
Location and general neatness. Rooms can be a little more well maintained especially the furnitures and toilet walls and joints. But they were extremely neat- just not well kept to a 4 star level as you can see the ageing and damages on tile joints, bedframe, flooring etc The security, bell boy, housekeeping staff and restaurant staff were the best I have experienced in Kerala. So kind, patient and friendly - very welcoming. But all reception staff were not the best, but good.
