United StatesOther than Mary, the staff was non-committal and the boss lady was somewhat unfriendly. They need more than one English-speaking staff member to deal with customer issues. Communication was a huge problem. However, I must add that as a result of the boss lady's somewhat rude treatment of one of our group members (as a result of miscommunication between the staff), Mary went out of her way to provide a complimentary room to our smoking group member. Kudos to Mary and the owners for doing their best to rectify the misunderstanding.

IndiaThe room was very dirty. There were lingerie left by I don’t know who. The room description said a living room and a separate bedroom but we were told at the property that all their rooms comes with a single room. No snacks was free. The rooms were not clean enough

IndiaThe breakfast was like a cheating, they told that breakfast is free . But in free breakfast they provide 1 slice of bread , 1 banana , 1 small cup of tea , 2 -3 very small slice of alu paratha on day 1 . That’s it . And on asking more they provided 1 more bread slice . On day 2 the menu was 1 slice of bread , 1 cup of tea and 1 banana that’s it . I did not take the 1 egg boil that they were providing since on Saturday I donot eat egg. The plate size was very very small , even smaller than quarter plate . The breakfast time was upto 9 am and one guest reached the dining hall at 9:03 am , the staff there rudely returned him and said that the breakfast is chargeable. So the other guest did not eat anything. On day 1 , I asked them to provide the dinner at 8:30 pm , they surved the dinner at 7:50 pm and that too very cold . On day 2 , I was asked to give the dinner order before 6:30 pm and they would take time to prepare the dinner . I gave the dinner order at 6:20 and asked them to serve the dinner at 8:30 , they provided the dinner at 7:30 and too very cold . The food taste was pathetic and the rates were very high . The service was extremely poor , staff were very rude

GermanyDONT BOOK HERE! It’s way overpriced and the service is very bad. The room was only 9 square meters instead of the written 26 square meters as booked and written. The upgraded room also only had EXACTLY 9 square meters which is half the size of a German prison cell. The pictures at booking are false: it will NOT be the room you will get. Most disappointing was the included breakfast. At the booking price of a 4 star Indian hotel I expect a breakfast that is at least worthy to be called a breakfast. We got: 2 dry toasts, no butter, no jam, no juice, no coffee, nothing. 1 banana and a tiny omelette the size of my hand. After asking for at least a pancake that I can enjoy (because the horrible omelette was spicy as hell) and 1 glass of milk the owner demanded PAY for that. To me this was extremely insulting and at over 40 hotels I visited in India this never happened before. The owner Mary also made sure that I pay a 2000 rupees security although I had to pay the Full price already at check in. What is the security for? Because I would steal the toilet paper?? The breakfast (2 dry toast, 1 banana, micro-omelette) was brought to our room without asking and knocking at our door at 8am in the morning until we opened. We were deep in sleep. The by far WORST part was, that Mary, the owner, decided to COMPLETELY build a new floor under ours. It was horrible, a nightmare. They used sledge hammers, turbo-steelconcrete drills right under my bed. All day. 14 hours. The owner was in my view greedy for money that she did not even close the house until those major workings were finished. The level of sound was over 90 decibel all day. I got sick, had to stay in bed. The sound continued for 3 days. Mary said: „it’s only for 10 minutes“ when we checked in. There are many alternatives in Aizawl to stay that are way way better, cheaper and actually caring for the customers. Do not go there. Book the regency hotel, the Floria or the Emerald hotel instead.

BangladeshWe didn't like the behaviour of managements (Mary) at all. She just cheated with us. We booked an apartment that was included a bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed) for 3 person, a living room with sofabed with other sofas and a kitchen room. But unfortunately they provide us only 1 bedroom with kitchen stuffs in the same small room for 4 persons. We reached to the hotel at night 1 am because of land sliding on the entrance of Aizawl city. But we had continuous communication with them. After reaching hotel at night 1 am obviously we didn't like this small room instead of our earlier booked apartment. The most bad thing was that madam Mary told us that if you don't like this room you can go to the other hotel at night 1am. This was very unfortunate and we were very much unhappy and was nothing to do except accumoded to that small room 4 adult persons.
The food was excellent. And I think the lady (Hluter) who cooks the food is the best employee of this hotel.
