Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.

We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaDisappointing Experience at Anant Royal Hotel, Vrindavan I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Anant Royal Hotel in Vrindavan, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with fellow travelers. My visit to this hotel from June 10th to June 11th, 2023, was marred by a series of issues that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Upon checking in on June 11th, my companions and I were assigned two different rooms consecutively, both of which had severe leakage problems in the bathrooms. It was disheartening to encounter such a basic maintenance issue right from the start. The inconvenience caused by the leaking water was not only bothersome but also a potential safety hazard. After expressing our concerns to the hotel staff, we were eventually moved to a third room, which was relatively better in terms of the leaking problem. However, the fact that we had to go through two unsatisfactory rooms before being offered a decent alternative was quite frustrating. We decided to make the most of our stay despite the initial setbacks and embarked on a Goverdhan Yatra. Returning to the hotel around 6:30 PM, we took a well-deserved rest for an hour before setting out for another round of the yatra. To our utter dismay, we discovered upon our return that someone had unlawfully entered our room during our absence and stolen 7000 rupees. The theft of our belongings not only left us feeling violated but also raised concerns about the hotel's security measures. The fact that someone could gain unauthorized access to our room and commit theft reflects a significant lapse in their security protocols. This incident greatly undermined our trust in the hotel's ability to ensure the safety of its guests' personal belongings. Considering the issues we encountered during our stay, I cannot in good conscience recommend Anant Royal Hotel to other travelers. The poor maintenance, specifically the leakage problem, coupled with the theft incident, creates an

IndiaCons- 1. The rooms are absolutely terrible! I paid rs. 1900 PER NIGHT, 5700 IN TOTAL, for 3 days. And the rooms were absolutely filthy. The floors were Damp with moisture and looked like they had not been cleaned since ages. There was paan spit on the walls. The toilet had not been flushed since ages. You can get better rooms for rs. 500 in any dharmshala nearby. 2. The owner is never present. I had to wait an hour just so I could check in. There are a couple of helpers who practically run the hotel. He just takes the money and goes away, probably so that no one can complain about anything. 3.The TV did not work, and when I asked the helper about it he started making excuses. Only a couple of bulbs in the room worked, 70% of the lighting didn't work. The AC didn't work either. The geyser only started working when I asked the owner why anything isn't working and he started it from a main switchboard. 4. There is absolutely no ventilation in the room and if you come here in the summers you'll certainly die of suffocation 5. The checkout time is 10 A.M., though we asked one of the helpers and he allowed us to stay half an hour extra. 6. No amenities. There is only a bed in the room. No chairs or table to sit and eat. The bed is fairly uncomfortable 7. We were 3 people, and we were given a room of 2 beds despite the fact that I had booked the room for 3 people. Then I asked them atleast give me an extra mattress, foe which they started demanding extra rs.200 which I didn't give because I showed them the booking for 3 people. They didn't give any bedsheets for the extra mattress. Only one pillow and a blanket, and not surprisingly, they smelt like they had never been washed. 8. We were given one blanket which looked like someone had wiped the floor with it 9. Absolutely no toiletries. Only one soap for washing hands. All in all, save your money and skip this place. Definitely not worth it. You can get a great room at half the price
don't think there's a proper review of this hotel online, so I will be giving my honest review. A short version of my review (TLDR) Great location but very costly and absolutely not worth it I booked this hotel for 3 days, February 22 to February 25. There were hardly any reviews online and all of them were good. So I decided to go with the hotel. Pros- 1. Great location. You can easily access entire govardhan as it is situated on the main road, hardly 5 minute from daanghati mandir. 2. Some of the staff members were very sweet and cooperative 3. Some great places to eat nearby. Do try the sweets at govardhan mishthan bhandar which is right outside the hotel.
