The room could’ve been cleaner as some hairs left in the bathroom and on the bed - the room was a bit old and paint peeling etc.

Wellness part also have plus point professional yoga trainer available to guide you. You can have this option to relax your mind and soul. perfect blend of stay and wellness

I stay at Bonfire Hostel in Rishikesh, and it was very good experience! From when I come in, the staff very friendly and make me feel at home. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, make it easy to meet other travelers. There are nice common areas to chill, and the activities they organize are fun too. If you want relax or do some adventure, Bonfire Hostel have everything. I can’t wait to come back again.

The room was cold in the beginning of January and we asked for heater because AC didn't work. During checkout they wanted to charge us for a heater, but finally applied no charges. Music on the roof until 11 pm-1 am sometimes, so be ready for some noise. We didn't see a beautiful view from the roof or our room, only buildings around, no Ganga view as other guests mentioned. Please be direct writing comments! Breakfast was fresh but the last day the boy who serves it was out and we didnt have it (though it was included into our reservation). Later the admin guy solved the issue and breakfast were served at 5pm. For appologies we were allowed to check out at 5 pm. Thanks for that too.

The room was spacious, location quite good, in the middle of reconstruction around but 5-7min by walking to the main street and about 15-20 to the Ganges river. Breakfast food also good, cooked at the place, served just made. We could select from omlette, paratha with yoghurt, sandwich (somehow was provided only one day, other days not allowed anymore), tea/coffee, Indian masala chai, banana. They provided a heater to the room. Water was free but bottles filled in by the hotel guy, not ourselves. Thank you very much! :)

They kept having random power outages which meant I was stuck on my floor, as the stairs to the fire exit were locked - I thought this is a bit of a safety hazard. I know is a hostel but had loud pop music playing in the evening in the hallways outside the rooms

I had a great stay at Bonfire for a couple of nights. It was a close distance to the main road, and I had comfortable sleeps in the bed. The views from the terrace were amazing, with views of the whole mountainous area around and the city, and a great yoga studio on the top of the building.

Ours was a room with complementary food but it was the same menu for both days, aloo paratha or eggs with toast. Hostel vibe is missing, it is more of hotel.

I stayed at Bonfire Hostel in Tapovan, Rishikesh, for four days. Initially, I had booked a 4-bed female dormitory for just two days, as I didn’t plan to extend my stay. I arrived early at 8:30 AM, before the check-in time of 11 AM. Instead of waiting at the reception, they offered me the option to rest on the rooftop, where they have mixed dorm beds. I took the opportunity to relax and freshen up there. When I inquired about my booked dorm, it wasn’t ready yet, but after a short wait, they provided me with a private room for two people at no extra cost. Both my roommate and I enjoyed a comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities in the room. I can’t comment on the food since I preferred to go out and try local options instead of ordering from the hostel. I want to especially thank Mr. Ayush Mittal, who was incredibly helpful and always ready to answer any questions. He was also very friendly and funny. You can book activities like river rafting and bungee jumping and many through the hostel, and I did river rafting, which turned out to be some of the best experiences of my life. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there.

The penthouse is at the 7th floor so we had very weak water pressure in the shower, but it's probably better in the lower floors.

Ayush, the owner, was extremely friendly, helpful, kind, and cheerful. He made us feel like family. The hostel is large and the rooms spacious. We had wonderful views from the terrace outside our penthouse apartment. We're deeply thankful to Ayush for the interesting conversations, for his warmth, and for taking care of our every need.

The restaurant wasn't fully operational whilst we were there although clear moves to improve that situation was being made. Due to the hillside location the hotel may be problematic for some.

This is a family run business and during our visit it was managed by two brothers that are a pleasure to deal with. We felt we were being given "special attention" but, I'm sure all guests feel the same way. It was clear that we could call upon one brother any time of the day or night for assistance in any matter. The rooftop room is a pleasant area to chill and see the sunrise.
