excellent service and friendly staff. great place to stay when in varanasi.feiz and his colleagues are always there when needed and is a great support for first timers.my first visit to Varanasi was made heavenly with cookies stay.

Super central location (10min easy walk to the ghats), good a/c in the dorm and, most of all, extremely helpful & friendly owner: Faiz will do anything to support you during your stay, useful visit suggestions included. Highly recommended, of course :)

I never met such a friendly owner of a hostel. Faiz is a really nice man, who even - on his scooter - took my around the city and to temples. You feel really welcome and wanted as a guest in this hostel. Stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Basic and good. Will stay here again, if I return to Varanasi.

Great value stay for a popular area near to Assi ghat, only a 10 minute walk away. The room is just as pictured with AC working very well and the bed is comfortable. The owner and staff here are super helpful and friendly, they really go above and beyond to help out guests which is amazing

The location is amazing. Next to some of the main ghats along the Ganges. The staff were incredible. Faiz (son of the owner) made me feel right at home. He brought me to his favourite cafe and the next morning showed me the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the BHU Campus and Assi Ghat. He helped make my Varanasi experience unforgettable!

All the main ghat is near to hotel like shivala ghat, assi Ghat, dasaswamedh ghat, maximum 10 to15 by auto. All staff are very helpful. Hygiene is good and bathroom option for both Indian and western. Highly recommended to this hotel to everyone if you came back in Varanasi so I choose this hotel again

The rooms are big, neat and clean. It would be better if they could come up with a kitchen in a hotel. Overall it is a nice place to stay in.

I went on a solo trip to Varanasi. Faiz who was at reception was very kind. He called me a couple of times after I booked my hotel. When I checked it, the room was neat and clean. To my surprise, they turned on the AC before I checked in. Overall room size was ok, it was clean. He helped me in planning my itinerary, gave suggestions regarding public transport and which mandir to go first. The next day I had to visit Kashi Vishwanath ji mandir early in the morning. Chote lal who is the receptionist at night, requested him to open the gate. he was very polite to do it. The hotel allows outside food as well. This hotel is at walking distance to assi ghat. You will find everything at walking distance from this hotel. Faiz, chote lal and Owais were very kind throughout my stay and helped me with each detail about holy places,helped me in planning everything. Whoever is visiting Kashi, this is one of the best hotels. The room is okay but the service is great. Highly recommended to everyone.

The hostel staff are very polite and cheerful, they helped me with everything. The hostel is located in the Old Town, close to the main attractions - it's very convenient! If I come to Varanasi again, I will stay in the same hostel!

Our stay was exceptional at cookies hostel varanasi. Very welcoming , helpful and warm- hearted people running the home stay . I felt very safe there especially as a women . The Dom including bathroom was cleaned ,AC and fan was working properly and matress was comfortable. The location is just perfect for discovering Varanasi vast spritual and historical treasures and the guest house is easy to find. We consider our time there as very precious and would recommend everybody to stay at cookies hostel during their time in Varanasi .
