AC and intercom were broken in one of the rooms. However, they were fixed immediately once informed. Not a senior citizen friendly location. No wheelchair access or ramps to aid walking when visiting with elderly folks.

The property, location, room size, cleanliness, breakfast spread, greenery. Most of all is the entire staff...they all were so nice with everyone. We even made freinds with them including the chef!

I was in Marriott on 19/4/23 for 2 nights. Check in was very smooth and Santosh at front office was very courteous and helpful. On being informed that I am a regular guest of Surya resort ( name of Marriott prior to take over by Marriott) , he upgraded our room without being asked for. Dinner was good and breakfast was with a vast spread and extra courteous staff. On day two the a c cooling wasn’t up to mark so I had to call for technicians at 12.00 midnight and therafter at 1.30 in the night - when it was finally rectified. On check out next day I had due to improper sleep migraine so couldn’t attend breakfast which was informed to front office manager ( can’t remember name probably Abhinav ) He immediately got the breakfast packed and personally came upto the car to drop it . Also Operations manager Imran Khan personally came to say sorry to us for the inconvenience caused but before that as a goodwill gesture Abhinav had waived of the room charges for the second day completely to out surprise. Thanks to team Marriott Mahabaleshwar.

The size of the room was a bit crunched, since it was 2 single beds instead of one which was an additional request to accommodate a double bed.

The property is good with an amazing pool and view. The Berry Library restaurant had some of the tastiest food I have tried. Thank you to the staff for taking good care of their guests. We went their for our wedding anniversary the hotel staff arranged a small cute décor, and cake (which we missed receiving, appreciate the gesture though)

the swimming pool needs to have heated water. The weather all through out is on lower side Plus its breezy all the while. Lot of people including ourselves couldnt enjy the pool and pool side as the water inside was very cold. Scope for improvement in this area.

Excellent property and ambience. The staff is extremely courteous and polite. I went there for my marriage anniversary celebration. The hotel staff surprised us with decorating our room and also with a cake. It was a very gesture. The food is yummy and mouthwatering. Overall experience very good and would certainly recommend!

1) Service is a issue. Please serve water to guest on arrival 2) Food quality is just average 3) Breakfast spread was not upto the mark 4) Food taste need improvement 5) We booked Villa thinking there will be privacy (as per photos on internet) but we were in open once we were in the PRIVATE GARDEN where we can see other rooms and others can see our rooms as the plant wall supposed to act as barrier was completely dry. We wasted huge amount of money on villas whereas the same privacy we could have got in regular room

they have only 1 lift for guest usage. in times of more than 4 people using the lift, wait time is long. lift is very slow. villa rooms require golf cart to be used. wait time is more. room service takes long to be served. restaurant has limited menu. they charge activities for kids like car and dart game which was a turn off for me. high price and good hotel expected to have this on the house.

overall a decent stay. Chef is very good. interacts with you and prepares on demand. staff is courteous. visited the place for my wife's birthday. they decorated the room and arranged for a small cake as well. during the dinner time they arranged for another cake. Restaurant staff is very good and interacts well. Sudharkar, Siddharth, Rishav are very courteous.
